[ 3 ] "Her First Night of School"

Monday came and the sun is about to set. The youngest Sakamaki is on the verge of waking up. She turned to her side and snuggled on the very comforting pillow beside her.

This pillow is so warm... and it also smells so nice... She thought while burying her face on it more, hugging it on the process. As expected of a high class family... Every furniture and implements here are comforting and very fancy.

Suddenly this 'pillow' also hugged her back and somewhat leaned on top of her head

Wait... What?

Akane's eyes bursted open, now fully awake and alert, and the first thing that she saw was black; a black cloth. A shirt?

Her senses are clearing up from sleep as she breathed in a certain scent...

Subaru nii-san?... She guessed

She can't really look up since this someone's chin is resting on her head, she might wake him up. Nor can she also move because of his very tight grip...

But one thing's for sure...

It's one of my brothers!

She tried to gently wiggle her way out but to no avail...

"Stop moving so much..." the boy mumbled and buried his face further on her hair. She can feel his breathing on the crown of her head even more now.

By the sound of his voice, she figured out that she was right about her white haired brother being next to her and it seems that he is a very light sleeper; waking up with the slightest movements.

"Good afternoon onii-san" Akane greeted.

She felt her brother breathed in deeply before loosening his arms around her a little, now giving Akane an access to move slightly and look at his face.

"Ah? Hm... Yeah..." Subaru murmured with his eyes still closed

Silence came after that and Akane knew that her brother will not let her go anytime soon

"Uhh... Could you please let go now?" She timidly spoke up

"No way. I wanna sleep some more" Subaru mumbled burrying his face on his sister's hair once again

"Reiji onii-san might scold us for sleeping too much" The white haired girl said

"Who the hell cares? And why can Shu sleep for the whole day and not us? Let that Reiji be damned."

"But..."

Akane turned silent after that, Subaru opened one of his eyes and peeked at the girl, finding her silly way of pretending to be mad with pouting (which is so adorable, but of course Subaru will never admit that). The older resisted the urge to chuckle at his sister's cuteness.

"Do you really want me to let go?" Subaru said, still with his just-awoken-husky-voice

"Yes.. So please?"

"Sure." Subaru removed his arms from her with an emotionless face. Akane was about to sit up when her brother's arms suddenly circled around her again and this time, tighter

"But you have to answer my questions first" he added

"W-What questions?" The younger asked looking straight at her brother's eyes

It took a whole minute of them staring at each others' eyes before the white-haired boy spoke

"Do you really sleep like a dead person?" Said Subaru, one of his eyebrows curving up
