You felt safe

The next morning you wake up and Griffin isn't there so you get up and go downstairs with a massive headache. You see Griffin, Josh and Nessa in the kitchen.
Nessa : Morning babes.
You : Morn. Griffin comes over and kisses your forehead handing you a plate with a pancake. You smile at him and sit down on the stool to the island.
Nessa : That party was so fun.
You : It really was.
Josh : Cap it was the worst one i've been to.
You : How?
Josh : It was basic. Griffin laughs. You guys talk while eating for about a half an hour.
You get up to wash your plate and Griffin comes up behind you and hugs you. You look at him and give him a kiss. He smiles and then goes back over to Josh and Nessa.
Nessa : Any plans today?
Josh : Why don't you guys come to Sway?
You groan : But Quinton
Josh : Don't worry about that I saw him with a girl last night I think you're good.
Even though you moved on you felt a little sad he's moved on too.
You : Thank god.
That hurt to say.
