Chapter One
Quake stood there in disbelief as the already large crowd in front of him and his friends began to grow larger. “You can’t do this!” Quake began to yell, “After all we have done for you, you’re just going to betray us like that?!” Quake takes a step forward with his fists clenched only to be stop by a hand on his shoulder. He turned around and looked at his friend shaking his head. Quake sighed as he took a step back when someone appeared from the crowed, “Attention heroes! It has come to our attention that you are our true enemies. Our town might not have been a peaceful town but it was better before you five showed up! Every day there’s always some type of explosion or we have to fix buildings, bridges and other things that you destroy in your ridiculous bouts. I, Mayor of Terych City, hereby banish you five from ever stepping foot into our city again!”
A major uproar is heard from the crowd behind the mayor, all yelling and agreeing with the mayor. The five teens just stood there in shock trying to take in everything the mayor has said, still surprised by everything that is happening, “No…” Division turned his head to his friend, “Quake, just let it go man, we can always find somewhere else to li-“Quake turns his head to Division with his eyes glowing blood red with anger, “NO!” Quake leaps into the air over the crowd in his stone form. The crowed screamed in terror running away from the angered hero. Division quickly looked up in the air to reach out for Quake but was too late, “Quake, stop!” As soon as Division said that Rel disappeared from where she was standing then reappeared behind Quake grabbing hold of him, “You need to control your temper.” Rel said before teleporting herself as well as Quake back to the platform where she and her teammates were standing before. “Shiveria, put everyone to sleep while I keep Quake rooted.” Rel ordered her friend. Shiveria did nothing but nod before putting her hands to the side of her head, slightly pressing on her temples causing her eyes to glow a light purple, “Sleep.” That’s all she said before the screaming in the crowd stopped. Night Hawk and Division looked behind them to where the screaming crowed was only to find hundreds of people, including animals, laid out in the middle of the street unconcious.
Night Hawk gave a long winded whistle, “Damn girl, and I the only thing to put so many people to sleep was one of Rel’s stories.” Rel winced at the comment, “Shut the hell up.” She said, still holding down Quake, “And, Quake, calm the hell down before I make Shiveria put you to sleep.” Quake snarled at Rel’s comment before taking a deep breath, “I’m good, can you let me up now?” Rel took her hands off of Quake; Division reached his hand out to help him up. Quake looked at division then looked down in disappointment. Division couldn’t help but feel sorry for his friend because he knew how much this town meant to him. The team just stood there in silence to enjoy their last few minutes before never returning. Quake stood up letting out a big sigh before turning around to his teammates, “You guys ready to go?” He asked with disappointment still in his voice, they all shook their heads in unison. A dark shroud covered the platform and just like that, they vanished.
