Chapter 2
The teammates arrived to the city limits not trying to jerk any extra emotions they move forward without looking back. Their journey is going to be a long and treacherous one as they had no means of transportation or any idea to where they are going. “Hey, I have an idea!” Night Hawk exclaimed. The team kept on walking in silence pretending not to even notice him. Night Hawk walked with them feeling a bit defeated but chirped back up, “Okay, since everyone is obviously listening I’m just going to say it: Why don’t we go to the capital of crime? Why don’t we go to-“ Rel cut him off in the middle of his sentence by covering his mouth. The rest of the team paused and looked at Rel struggling to keep Night Hawk’s mouth shut. Quake walked forward a bit, “Rel. Let him speak.” He said giving her a stern look, seeing that he was clearly not in the mood to joke around Rel removes her hands from Night Hawk’s mouth and crosses her arms. Night Hawk takes a gasp of air before speaking, “Thank you, Quake. As I was saying, before I was rudely interrupted, I think that we should go to Masqe City. I mean, think about it, that city has so much crime that they don’t even report it on the news anymore.” Night Hawk showed emphasis in what he was saying by throwing his hands up in the air at his last statement.
Quake stood there pondering what Night Hawk had just said then Division stepped forward, “Look, I’m all for kicking bad guy butt and all, but don’t you think we may be a little outnumbered if we were to move there? Like you said, that is the crime capital.” Shiveria and Rel both nodded their heads in unison. “Dude, you need to relax!” Night Hawk said throwing his arm around Divisions shoulder, “There’s never been a villain that we couldn’t handle and there will never be one we can’t handle!” Division looked at Night Hawk slightly annoyed with his touch, “Shiveria, if you may?” Shiveria nodded before placing her hand on Night Wing’s head, ‘Sleep’ is what she thought and as fast as she put her hand on him Night Wing was out cold. Division couldn’t help but smile and give her thumbs up. Shiveria blushed at this notion before switching the subject, “Quake, as our leader I will follow you no matter what decision you make. Just make sure that it’s the right one.” Shiveria said with sincerity in her voice. Quake continued to stand there deep in thought about what Night Hawk suggested. After a few minutes Quake finally spoke up, “I propose that we go Masqe City like Night Hawk had suggested. But, to be fair, let’s take a vote. All who oppose of this action raise your hand.” Rel and Division raised their hands. “Those who are for moving, raise your hand.” Quake and Shiveria raised their hands. It looked like it was going to be a tie, but forgetting that Shiveria had knocked out Night Wing it would make the vote 3-2 for moving to Masqe City. “It’s settled. Starting from today we will make a name for ourselves in Masqe City. Rel, if you don’t mind.” Rel sighed before shrouding her friends with dark energy teleporting them away.
Just as soon as the team departed from their location a small group of mysterious figures emerged from the shadows, "So, it seems that our young heroes have found themselves in quite the predicament.” Spoke the shrouded figure in the middle, “Go. Find them and bring them to me. Alive.” The four other shrouded figures kneeled in obedience before dispersing.
