Chapter 2 Into the city

When beets and I had reached the city we noticed that our armor and tails didn't fit in with the local fashion so Beets and I had walked into an alley and had taken off our armor and had put on some worn clothes I found near a dumpster I told beets to curl his tail around his waist so people couldn't see it he asked "why I like my tail mom said it was special" I replied "we can't show our tails to these people we don't know how they'll react to them" we wandered the city until we saw a man who was dressed like us we followed him into a dank alley until we came to an abandoned courtyard it was a wide circular shape where people had set up tents and fire it looked similar to the poor areas of sadala we wandered around the camp until the man we followed had stopped us and asked where we were going I put beets behind and said "we're looking for a place to stay" the man had laughed and said "your looking in the wrong place I can take you to a place where you can stay that's safer than here" I nodded my head and said "that would be nice but if you try anything funny I won't hesitate to fight back" he laughed even louder than before and said "don't worry little guy I promise no funny buisness" we walked down the alley and back into the street the man asked for my name I said "My name is Y/N and this is my brother Beets whats your name" he smiled and said "Those are some odd names you boys got my names chuck nice to meet you two" chuck took us to a beach where an old man with a turtle shell on his back was staring at some women in the water chuck said hello to the old man he turned around asked us who we were chuck said "This here is Y/N and jeets" Beets budded in "My name is Beets" chuck responded "sorry Y/N and wheats here need a place to stay would you mind taking them in" the old man looked at both of us, nodded and said "as long as they behave I have no problem with it" "great" said chuck he looked at both of us and asked "do you two think you'll be OK with staying with my friend here" I looked at the old man "as long as he doesn't try anything funny" the old man laughed "you got nothing to worry about here let me introduce my self my name is roshi whats yours" I looked up and said "I'm Y/N" "Thats and odd name" said roshi "but I have no problem looking after you" after a little bit more talking beets and I were ready to go with roshi we waved bye to chuck and were on our way to a new home
