Chapter 3 Master Roshi

When we arrived on roshi's Island where he showed us his home it was a small but nice house with the words kame house on the roof he also introduced to a talking turtle at first Beets and I were startled at the fact that it could speak I had never seen an animal on sadala that could do this after introductions master Roshi showed us to our rooms we slept for the night but during my sleep I had a nightmare a tall man stood over Beets He looked at me and whispered something I couldn't understand I tried to yell for Beets to run but I couldn't speak Then I tried to Move but I couldn't then the man laughed at me he said something I could understand this time He looked and me and said "Your still not strong enough to save anyone not even your own brother" he had opened his palm and a beam of ligh shot out and killed Beets I awoke screaming Beets ran in and asked "Whats wrong Y/N" I just looked at him and smiled "Just a bad dream" after breakfast we found master Roshi on the beach laying in a lawn chair Beets had noticed that he still had his turtle shell on his back so he asked "hey Roshi why do you still have that shell on for?" Roshi replied "its for my training I keep it on to weigh me down so I can become stronger" I asked him "your a martial artist?" He replied with a nod I told him "you must be pretty strong then let's spar" master roshi laughed and said "I think I'm a little out of your league little one" but I persisted "I can definitely take on you I faced scarier things than you" he got up from his lawn chair and got into a fighing pose "come on then give me your best shot" he said I replied with a quick rush he easily dodged it I tried to fire a ki blast at him but he deflected it and rushed and hit me I fell to the ground I tried to get up but the pain was to great Roshi said "I think thats enough for now" he helped me up and told me "just blindly charging at your opponent will get you nowhere you must use your mind as well as your might if you ever wish to be victorious" I nodded and asked "Roshi would help me train I want to become the strongest warrior I can be" Beets said "me too I don't want to hide behind Y/N my whole life I want to be just as strong as him" Roshi agreed and through a the years Beets and I had learned much from him by the time we were 16 we both had mastered basic combat and ki control as well as the ability to fly and we had even found a way to sense the energy from people however Beets and I had learned different techniques from matser Roshi I had learned the kamehameha wave while beets learned a move called evil containment when we were 18 we had learned all we could from roshi and thanked him for teaching and raising us to be fine warriors but a few months later that all changed when we met two women named Kale and Caulifla
