Chapter 3

2 years later...

Screwball's P.O.V.

Today I am going to hang out with the girls. We are having a spa day. I really need it. "Mothy, I am meeting the girls at the market. I will be back in a few hours!" I say to him letting him know what I'm doing. "Ok, Screwy! Have fun!" I hear him reply. I walk out the door heading to the market to meet the girls.

Soon I arrived at the market where the girls were. "Hey girls! How are ya?" I ask them as I haven't seen them in a while. All I hear are combinations of goods and greats. "That's great!"

After about two hours, we finished our spa treatment and are now at a restaurant getting some lunch. We were having peaceful talks until Apple Blossom decided to bring up a topic I didn't particularly like to talk about very much. KIDS.

"So, when are you and Mothball thinking about having children?" Apple Blossom asked me. "Um...I'm not sure. We haven't really talked about it much. I guess we haven't really thought about it." I gave my honest answer. And to be honest, I didn't really know if he wanted kids. "Oh. Well maybe you could talk about soon." she replied. "Yeah maybe." I said.

"Whatever you decide, we are here for you, Screwy." Dinky said to me. "Thanks, Dinks" I said to her.

After about an hour, we had finished our meals and went home. I walked in the door to find Mothball half asleep on the couch. I went over to him and woke him up. "Mothy, you awake?" I said softly. "mmm, what?" he said in a tired voice. "Why were you asleep?" I asked him. "I tried to wait up for you. I must have fallen asleep. Sorry." he replied back to me. "It's okay Mothy. Why don't we watch TV and relax for a bit?" I suggested to him.

"Yeah, I could do that" he replies. I sit down next to him on the couch and we decide what to watch.

We sat on the couch for a few hours before we decided it was time for dinner.

I decided that we were going to have hayburgers. I used my magic to poof some onto the table. We sat at the table and ate our burgers.

After we were done, Mothy cleaned off the dishes and we got ready for bed. Once we climbed into bed, I decided that it was time to talk about it.

"Hey Mothy, can we talk?" I finally asked him. "What about?" he said. Oh boy. Here it goes. "We haven't really talked about this much. And frankly, we have put it off for far too long." I said to him. "We haven't really decided if we wanted kids or not." I said. I half expected him to be really confused or something. But his face was soft and gentle.

"If I'm being honest. It would be great to have kids sometime. Although they might be a lot of work." he said to me. "I'm sure we can handle it. And if I'm being honest too, I was really nervous to talk about this for some reason." I said stating my honest opinion. "Hmm. Why?" he asked me. "I'm not sure" I replied.

After that, we laid down in our soft, warm bed. For the first time in a week I was able to sleep good knowing that my mind could be put to rest for a while.
