Welcome my dudes, dudettes, and anyone in between!
Let's open with this:
And now, time for assurance;
It's awesome to like a girl and be a girl.
It's awesome to like a guy and be a guy.
It's awesome to be a guy and like girls.
It's awesome to be a girl and like guys.
It's awesome to like more than one person regardless of your gender.
It's awesome to like no one reguardless of your gender.
It's awesome to like either and not consider yourself either.
It's awesome to like both and consider yourself both.
It's awesome to be a girl and like both.
It's awesome to be a guy and like both.
It's awesome to be a person and like all people.
It's awesome to be anyone you want to be and love anyone.
There are no rules against love.
There is no reason to be hateful.
There is no reason to hate yourself. You are perfect. You are trying. I can see you're trying and that's amazing. Never give up. Try to take care of yourself.
Take showers as often as you can. Try to get some sleep. Take your meds. Take any vitamins you may need. Make sure you eat something. Take care of yourself, both mentally and physically.
If you don't like your name, change it. You don't even need to do it legally, just tell whoever you trust with it. If you feel like you were born in the wrong body and you feel safe enough to do so, change it. Just make sure you bind and confide safely, do not jeopardize your health.
You're not required to come out, if you don't feel safe then don't tell anyone. It's your choice, you are not required to tell anyone anything.
If you really want to but can't, come out in the comments and make friends with people who relate.
You don't need to know who you are yet. You don't need to pick a label. You don't need to justify your sexuality or transition.
If you ever feel like you aren't good enough, remember you are. You are worth it. You are worth everything and deserve everything.
Whatever you're going through now, it's temporary. You will be ok. If you aren't right now, that's ok.
Everyone goes through tough times, everyone has that one song or playlist they turn to when they need someone to understand them.
It's alright to not be ok. It's alright if you need help. It's alright if you are honest about your problems.
Everyone needs help sometimes, no one expects you to do it alone. No one expects you to soldier on.
If you know someone who expects you to do anything with your life because they want it for you,
It's your life to live the way you want.
It's your choice what you do with your body.
It's your choice to stay where you are or to move away.
It's your choice. Every part of your life is your choice. If you're in a position where it's currently not your choice, try your hardest to get out of that situation.
Just hold on until you're old enough to make your own descisions.
And remember, I am proud of you.
I'm proud of you for sleeping.
I'm proud of you for waking up.
I'm proud of you for brushing your teeth.
I'm proud of you for brushing your hair.
I'm proud of you for taking a bath or shower.
I'm proud of you for eating something.
I'm proud of you for drinking water.
I'm proud of you for getting out of bed.
I'm proud of you for taking your meds.
I'm proud of your for being human. You are only human, you make mistakes and that's alright.
I'm proud of you for trying. No matter how small a task may seem, you did it. You made the choice to do it and you should be proud of yourself for that. You accomplished something. You did that. No one else did it, you did.
Lastly, YOU ARE VALID. YOU HAVE BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE VALID. YOUR FEELINGS ARE VALID. YOUR LOVE IS VALID. YOUR TRANSITIONS ARE VALID. YOUR BODY SHAPE IS VALID. YOU'RE VALID WHETHER YOU HAVE A LABEL OR NOT.
BE PROUD TO BE YOU.
For now, as a closer,
Remember, no matter what anyone says, YOU ARE VALID. You can be whatever you want to be, love whoever you love, don't let them change you. 🌈❤💛💚💙💜
