"Are you sure it was the same mark, Jason?" A woman with tan skin and dark hair asked.

"Exactly the same." Jason replied.

"I'm lost. Explain again?" Another girl covered in melanin and tattoos spoke and put down her phone.

"Garfield Tanabaum thought a hit was placed on him, and honestly why wouldn't it? Money, power, and he's running for governor. He asked us to watch over him and his daughter at the party, knowing it would be the easiest place to kill him."

"Yes, I know that part." The girl said impatiently.

"I noticed a person with a gun pointed at Garfield from the glass ceiling so I alerted Garfield and he evacuated everyone. The man kicked in the glass and jumped down four floors. No pain. No fear. He rushed over and I punched him in to the wall." Jason recalled and leaned over the table to snatch the girl's phone.

"If you're going to have me explain again, the least you could do is listen Kylie." He sighed.

"Alright, I'm sorry. Continue." She spoke and put her feet up on the table.

"I used most of my strength to knock him in to that wall but he got up so quickly. It was like he was a zombie, just doing whatever her could to finish the job." He spoke.

"Skip the poetry please." Kylie teased.

"You are infuriating." Jason began.
"He got up and immediately tried strangling Garfield, to which Jamie held a knife to his throat. It appeared the man did bleed when I hit him but pain didn't stop him." He continued.

"Oh, tell her about the blood. That's my favorite part!" Jamie smiled while stitching together his own skin.

"I'm getting to it." Jason sighed.

"His blood was green, not red."

"Green? Maybe you're just color blind. Blood is red never green." Kylie said.

"Jamie seen it aswell. He got his gun, fired a warning shot and stopped for a few seconds. He didn't look at us, rather he he looked at the gun. He resumed quickly after looking at each one of us, shooting himself. I said that an ambulance was coming and he replied with 'I want this. This has to happen. He will come for me.'" The brown haired boy spoke nudging Kylie's feet off the table. Kylie rolled her eyes in response.

"Then there was the mark.." Jason began.

"A mark?" Kylie asked.

"Yes. It's the exact match to Marah's." He answered holding up Marah's wrist. The mark tattooed on her tanned skin was what appeared to be roman numerals stating:

"XIV IX II IX XVII XXI"

"So wait, this guy is from where Marah was made?" Kylie asked.

"Is it possible?" Jason asked.

"It's possible but... their program was shut down. Which means either someone gave them access to try again or... this has been going on the whole time without government approval. If that's the case..." Marah began with a sigh.

"There could be thousands of them by now." She tightened her fist but quickly let go. She examined her palm to see the scars that formed from her nails.

"Did he have cuts on his palms?" Marah asked.

"Not that I've seen. He was covering the bullet wound."

"I'm going with you." Marah spoke while looking at her watch.

"That was the plan. You two stay here, we'll call you for back up if we need it." Jason said and grabbed his coat.
