Nibiru stood above a dance hall. She watched and waited for the dance to end. Looking down the barrel of her gun, she kept her eyes focused on Garfield. Her inner self wanted to get lost in the beautiful music and smile at the beautiful ballgowns twirling across the dance floor. However her face remained expressionless as if Medusa froze Nibiru's features herself.

She scanned everyone else quickly taking note of a little girl who walked up to where Garfield was standing. She read the girl's lips as the girl tugged on Garfield's jacket.

"Come dance with me, daddy." The girl smiled brightly.

That's her father?! I can't do this to her. She's too young. I was in her place once, I don't want anyone else to go through what I have endured. If I don't complete this mission I'll be punished. You know what?! Pain is temporary but death is forever; I will not take her fathers life. Put the gun down! She yelled at herself to no avail. She tried forcing her arms down but only caused them to shake. X's grip on her mind was all too strong.

I can't do this too her! Put the gun down! She screamed in her head. Her body began to hold her breath like a punishment for thinking out of turn. Nibiru stood strong of as long as she could.

If I pass out I can stop this. She thought and her body immediately stopped.

Shit! She cried. Nibiru tried everything she could but nothing could stop her from completing her task.

Interesting. He's really out of place. Hardly dressed up and covered in stitches. He looks like an old ragdoll I had. I wonder what happened to cause him to receive so many stitches. And who is that talking with Garfield? She watched as a semi-muscular man with black hair and a black eye whispered in his ear. She couldn't see his lips move so she had no way of knowing what he was telling him. Her hand tightened on the grip of the rifle.

No, no, no, no! She told herself and tried forcing her hand open. Nibiru noticed Garfield about to look up. Her body rushed out of the way without warning causing her inner self to feel off balance. Nibiru looked back down and took notice of everyone leaving.

It's only seven. These events go on all night.  She thought looking at the enormous golden clock on the wall.

There might be some trouble. That guy must've noticed me and told Garfield. Good, this means I can't hurt him. She thought opening a hatch in the roof.

You're going to break my legs if you make me jump down. She warned but felt okay with it since she wouldn't be able to take a father away from his daughter. Her body jumped anyway she rolled so the body would absorb the pressure of the fall leaving her relatively fine. In this state pain was no longer an issue.

Her brain was rewired to shut out all sensory distractions making her stronger. Though, it's not just her body in this state that makes her such a strong opponent. She was trained from a young age to watch body language and learn about others just by one look. She is a little rusty in that department but she isn't substandard when it comes to fighting.

She looked around noticing Garfield quickly peaking out from behind a podium. Her body quickly began walking towards him.

Stop! Please! Don't hurt him! Hs has a daughter! She's just like me! She fought and fought unable to stop herself from pointing a gun at the man's head.
