~The Album~

This is what I imagine Devon's album would look like, in case anyone was wondering.

Here's the track list with the story behind each song:

Two Years of Love (and why you shouldn't do it)

1. Daydreamer

This song was written the day after Niall and Devon were in the greenhouse. It's not about anyone in particular, instead displaying what Devon would look for in a significant other. A romanticized version of what she's known.

2. Take It All

Written about her first girlfriend. It was her first organic breakup, and it hurt like hell. The girlfriend broke up with Devon two weeks before Easter. Dylan wrote this song on Easter Sunday, seemingly incapable of finding a reason her girlfriend would break up with her. Eventually she decided it was her fault.

3. I'm Not the Only One

Plain and simple, Dylan cheated on her. This was written before the fateful night of their breakup, while they were still together. Her friends sent her photos of him hooking up with someone from school.

4. If I Fell

This one will actually be considered a cover. With the help of Harry she manages to redo the song in a way that matches the theme of her own album. It's her favorite Beatles song.

5. Bad Habit

This is the one she wrote for Dylan when their relationship began to get rocky. They both knew that they both knew he was cheating, but Devon couldn't bring herself to breakup with him. She thought she needed him. She finished writing this song the afternoon before she came out to him.

6. The One That Got Away

Another one for Dylan (shocker), but is also about her second girlfriend. This one covers her favorite parts of each relationship, the first verse for Dylan and the second for the girlfriend. She deems them both the ones that got away. This was written when she broke up with Dylan and then edited three years later when she broke up with her girlfriend.

7. Here Between

You will see her write this one. Nothing more to be said. If you listen, do imagine the background vocals are being done by Liam. It adds to the experience.

8. All I Want

You will see her write this one. Nothing more to be said.

9. Jealous

She will also write this one in the story. It's a bit of a bruh moment. Looking forward to that.

10. Moral of the Story (feat. Niall Horan)

You already KNOW I had to use this one. The writing process is already planned out. I'm excited for this as well.

11. Breathe Again

Very emotional. Looking forward to this.

12. Secret For the Mad

This song is gonna be a real heart wrencher if I write it well enough so I look forward to these chapters.

13. She

Waittttttt I thought this wasn't on the album! Weird, right?
