"What are we doing here anyway Clarke?" Clarke continues to grab my hand leading me inside of this art shop. "Calm down, I just need your help choosing colors for this painting I'm doing, it's one of the most difficult ones I've done yet." I cut her some slack and continue following behind her.

We walk into the shop, and immediately I'm hit with the smell of fresh paint, and it just smells like....art. I'm not complaining though, I like the aesthetics in this place. Clarke lets my hand go, and walks up to the register, leaving me behind to explore the shop.

"Wow it's really nice in here." I say to myself.

Just then a man with a curly hightop walks in. He makes eye contact with me, and just stares. I give him the "what do you want" face, and he continues to stare at me. I don't like being rude, because it isn't me, but he's throwing me off with this staring.

He walks over to me, "May I help you?" I ask. "Oh yes, do you work here?" He asks me. I roll my eyes at him. "You see all these workers in here with uniforms on, and I have a normal outfit on.....does it look like I work here sir?" I try to walk off, but he does something that I least expected him to do, he grabs me by my wrist.

"UM EXCUSE ME?!" I yank my wrist out of his grip. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!" I began yelling, drawing stares of the other customers in the shop. He let out a small laugh, "Oh you're an attention seeker? Chris will love you." He looks me up, and down licking his lips. "Tell your friend she's cute." He winks then walks out the shop.

Clarke runs over to me. "Hey hey hey, what happened?" I calm myself down while Clarke was patting my back. I didn't realize I was holding my breath, and it caused me to have a mini panic attack. But what, and exactly who does he mean saying, "Chris will love me."

I don't know anybody named Chris. Clarke snapped me out of my thoughts. "Helloooo? Are you okay? What was that all about?" I tighten the grip of my bag on my shoulder. "Let's go sit at lunch, and I'll tell you about it."

An hour later;
"Girl? Are you serious?" Clarke says to me in shock. I take a sip of my water, "Yes girl, and his grip was hard as hell, like I don't know who the hell he thought he was, but he had the right one." Clarke laughs.

"Yesss, and tell me what he said again about this Chris guy." She took a grape out of her fruit bowl, eating it. "Yeah, he said something like "Chris will love you" like WHO IS CHRIS?!AND WHY WOULD I BE MEETING HIM?"

I stir my straw in cup, taking another sip. "He also thinks I didn't see what kind of car he drives, it was a black-" Clarke notices my abrupt silence. "What what?" She looks around, and then to the street where my attention was focused. "Jeep." I eyed the car as it slowly drove past us. What made me even more scared was that me, and Clarke are at an outside table, so I could get a clear view that it was him.

He doesn't even care that we noticed him. "Clarke we gotta leave." She quickly agreed, grabbing her bag, and drink.

"Babyyyy pay me some attention." Jennie was in my ear whining. I couldn't pay her that much attention, because I have finish this art project that was due tomorrow in class. Her bugging me wasn't helping at all. "Jennie give me another hour, and you can have me all to yourself" I shooed her away continuing to draw.

She started pouting. "Dylan please! I'm so bored, and we're home alone so why not do something. We haven't done anything in a week!" She got off the bed walking into my bathroom. Once again, i didn't pay her any attention, I could care less about that right now. I just need to worry about if I'm going to pass the 12th grade or not.

"Baby, we haven't done anything in a week because your on your period, and I don't usually judge people, but...yeah I'm not down with that." I laugh to myself while picking another crayon out.
