Undoing The Petrification

Medusa arrived at the field where he first fought Ena. That was where Jestar was keeping the statues of the others, since Ena managed to break the Heart Locket.

He didn't expect to see anyone else there, so it was definitely a surprise to see a certain "insane" circle there. Said circle seemed to be listening to some music while propped up against the statue of Aura.

"Get out of here if you don't want to join these guys as a statue. I have unfinished business."

The shape got up and moved to another spot, away from the statues.

Relieved the shape didn't pick any fights, Medusa got to work.

"So, how do you think we'll be able to rescue them?"

Nautilus and Ena were planning something.

"I don't know. I've never seen a shape with the ability to petrify others before, and I've seen a lot."

"Do you think we should kidnap him and force him to turn the others back?"

"What? He could kill us, Nautilus!"

"I know, but it might be our only chance!"

"There's gotta be another way..."

It was done. They were free.

"Wh-wha? What happened?"

"Ugh, why does my head hurt?"

"Where am I?"

"Jestar ordered me to petrify you. But, I've turned against him. Enjoy your freedom while it lasts."

They looked at each other, confused. Why would Jestar order Medusa to petrify them? Was it because they failed to capture Ena? Where was Nautilus? Why did Medusa turn against his own creator?

"Ya know, maybe we should just- wait, they're free?"

Nautilus and Ena arrived at that same spot.

"Nautilus! Ena!"

"How did you guys get out?! Who let you out?", Ena enquired.

"I don't know, all I do know is Medusa was the one who did it!" Aura seemed distressed.

"Medusa?!"
Neither of the two could quite believe what they were hearing.

"Yeah, saw the whole thing. Pretty cool to be honest."
Sat on a nearby rock was a mysterio- no, wait, it's just Loony. Same guy from earlier.

"Heeeey, Loony..." Ena wasn't too happy to see him, as you'd expect. He was a madman who tried to take over Arrhythmia with his gang, after all.

"Sup Ena. I'm boutta go back, but yeah, apparently that dude went against Jestar or somethin? Gotta have some balls to do that, huh?"

"He WHAT?!"

A/n: hey, sorry for not releasing this sooner! I've had writer's block for a while, and have just generally felt down.
Also, before you ask, yes, Lost Evil and Black Heart take place in the same universe in my hc.
Loony won't appear anymore btw, it's just for this chapter. Ya know, for *plot convenience*

A/N 2: Ive just updated the name of Hal to Ena, since I now see them as two different nanobots from different timeframes.
Ena stands for Emissary and Nanobot of Arrhythmia btw.
