Will's POV

6:50 a.m. My alarm clock starts ringing. Last day of school; YES! I rush to my bathroom then take a shower and then put on a red shirt, denim pants and my sneakers on and taking with me my bag and phone. I ran all the way to the dining area. I sit down and start eating. A few minutes later, Tom came down.

"Where's mom and dad? I've got great news to tell them!" He said as he helped himself to the food I set down on the table.

"Well, mom's still sleeping and dad's on a business trip; but he'll be back by tonight. Why d'you ask? And what's this big news, brother?" I arched an eyebrow upward, a tad bit curious on what he wanted to say.

"Uhm, d'you remember our last game? The guy who talked to coach and me?" He was practically on the edge of his seat, obviously hyped up.

"Yeah, I do. " I nodded, a bit excited with where this was going.

"He wants me on his team." He grinned widely; clearly happy. I tried to remember who the man was. Wait... I think I recall.

"That dude? He really looks so familiar, he's like the coach of some college school... Wait a minute! Is he the coach of Harvard?" My eyes widened; holy mother of all, it was that famous coach, and he--- And my brother...! Wow! This really is good news!

"JACKPOT!!! I can't wait to say it to them!" Tom kept jumping in his seat. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Bro, you're so lucky! You get to be the valedictorian of your batch and also the team captain and now you're going to Harvard!? Dude, you're really my idol from now on!" I give my brother a high-five and then let him continue on eating.

"Hey Tom! It's your turn to drive Jane to school!" I added in between my bites of waffles.

"Today? I thought it should be you, because as far as I can remember I'm the one who drove Jane yesterday." He stated as a matter-of-factly. I glanced at him with a pleasing look.

"Please bro. I gotta do something, stop by a friend's house. You know that kind of stuff?" I even sniffled and gave him the puppy eyes.

He gave me a 'this-is-the-last-time' look.

"Okay, but next year it's gonna be you who will drive her everyday to school. Good luck bro, later!" I just took the keys and my bag then went to my car.

As I pass by Ann Bailey's house (The daughter of the mayor.)I saw her walk out from her house. She was wearing a floral summer dress. I couldn't help it, this is my last chance to be with her again. So I parked my car and tried to catch up with her as fast as I could.

"Hey Ann! Good morning! Still walking to school huh? Why won't you get your car fixed?" I was barely catching my breath as I spoke. The way she looked at me, well... I think I might just melt.

"Hey William! Good morning to you too. Well, it turns out that I want to walk than to drive my car today. Wait, where's your car?"

"Uhm, well, just jogging here and there... Y-You know what? I wanna walk with you today!" I smiled widely, proud to finally have said the words I wanted to say!

"Wha-What?! You've got to be kidding me! I don't need anyone to escort me all the way to school." She pouted; ah... Sweet Ann is so cute.

"Who said about escorting you to school? I just want to walk with you that's all. And to make sure your safe." I grinned at her; well I can't blurt out my feelings here, now can I?

"Oh, okay... So, why do you want to walk with me? You'd never actually do this. Weeeeeeell, except that time when it was raining really hard and you let me borrow your umbrella but then the next day, you got sick."

"You still remember that?! Well, I really want to walk with you." Oh god I think the biggest smile in the world was created right this moment.

"Oh, really?" She gave a small smirk and I couldn't help but smile. Yes, oh yes. This girl will be the death of me! This I swear!

"Okay fine! I just want to walk with you today because I don't want you to get in trouble or anything. You know?" Yes.. I blurted it all out. Smart William having to be do damn shy around the most wonderful, stunning girl in the whole universe!

She laughed. I can never get enough of that sound. Just like bells, ringing sweetly in my ears.

"That's so sweet of you, William. But I don't think that's the right answer. I really smell something fishy! I think you're planning something, I'll find it out at the end of the day!" She crossed her arms, brows furrowed, and a tiny frown on her lips. She's cute with ANY expression.

I smirked; I know I'll win this round.

"Well good luck finding the answer that you're looking for." I was already doing a victory dance in my head; Go William!

"Oh you know I will!" She cocked her head to the side, an impish grin on her face. I just wanna kiss those lips and---- Whooooa William! Down boy!

"Of course, I know you will know; but not now, maybe later in the field or in the gym or even in the classroom." I shrugged, internally happy that she was up to it. I could just die right now: In happiness and joy!

We were a few blocks from our school. Ann grabs me by the hand and drags me all the way down to the street of our school.

I really felt something weird as she holds my hand and when I say weird it's really WEIRD. I never felt like this before --the unusually hot feeling that makes you feel like you're sweating.

"Here we are! Come let's get to class!" She was still holding onto my hand; I felt my cheeks burn up and my heart beat faster. God, she's driving me on the edge here!

As we enter the school, I can't help but notice my friends staring at me and giving me a thumbs up. So I asked her "Hey Ann, you seem to like holding my hand."

"Oh yeah. Sorry Will. I didn't notice it." She then suddenly let go of my hand. Why did I tell her that? Stupid William smartness and craaaaap... That's the smartest thing I've ever said today. Ugh, I really want to hold her hand again!

I just smiled at her.

"Will, thank you for walking with me to school. It's really so thoughtful of you." She gives me a kiss on the cheek and again I felt that odd sensation inside me. Why does it happen every time she touches my skin, or even just by looking at me? She's... An angel. I swear she's a fallen angel.

"No problem Ann. Hey I gotta catch up with my friends. See you around!" I left her unwillingly and went straight to my friends, Liam Johnson, James Bailey (Ann's baby brother), Mike Andrews, Mark Lloyd and Jake Andre.

They told me that everything's set for our secret plan; the field's available so it means we can use it today. This surprise is going to be big! And boy, am I psyched!

-after classes-

I meet up with James, Jake, Liam, Mike and Mark. I also asked Ann's friends, Jenny Jenkins, Clarisse Millicent, Camilla Anderson, and Patricia Dare. They're helping me to get Ann to go to the field. We split up, me and the boys are getting ready at the field, while the girls are bringing her to the field.
