Back In Time [WenGa] Short Story

It was said that the only person who has powers is the king of the two worlds, no one else can covet them other than the family who was destined to be the king.

now...

Seungwan stands on the passage between the Light and Darkness uncertain of what's to come once she crosses to the other world.

She's known for her gentleness, lady-like appearance, soft spoken and very kind attitude. Too bad that she had to cross the world just to appease the Dark King.

The people watched her from the back with sullen look. They are her friends and family.

"Seungwan... Im so sorry." Jin, her brother apologized with tears streaming down his face.

She smiled taking his hand in hers. "It's okay brother, I've already accepted my fate. You're not at fault, it's me. I'm always sick that you didn't control yourself, you just wanted me to get well." She's actually blessed to have a brother like him, who will do anything for his younger sister.

"I'll be off, we will see each other again brother, I'll ask the King to let me see you soon."

Jin nodded continously. "I'll wait here for you."

Seungwan smiled once more, eyeing each one of them with the most sincerest and brightest eye no one has ever seen before turning her back and crossed to the other world.

Her sister, Joohyun, who is married to the prince of the Kingdom of Light reminded her that her life will always be in danger and that even once as soon as she cross the other side, she might be taken somewhere and be treated harshly. Seungwan expected that much already. She's now healthy but pain will be her pay.

'Unless he comes to love you no- even if he comes to cherish you, one of you will still have an unpleasant ending, don't be blinded by things Seungwan, you'll come back to us. '

the Queen of the Light World posess the same thing as hers but its from the Light World, unlike hers that is stolen by his brother, what makes it worse is that she doesn't know how it will affect her body. Therefore, she can only wait.

Crossing the other world doesn't take much really, it's like going inside a huge door with spiral sparkling galaxy-like space. As soon as she stoops her foot inside, her body was sucked in and she found herself standing on unknown ground.

She looked around her surroundings and it doesn't look much different from their world, the colors are just you know... depressing for her taste. The world of light is surrounded by white and gold while this world... it seems there's only darkness, she's not used to it. But not 'that' dark, there's still a sun covered by the dark clouds but yeah, still dark for her.

So, where do I go from here?

Two men appeared on her side, and here she thought that they will look scary but my, do they look handsome.

Before she could ask, they disappeared into thin air and when she blinked, they are now in front of a huge door, probably 20 feet large. The design of the door is very intricate with gold too.

The huge door opened and she was pushed slightly at the back as if telling her to walk inside, and that's what she did.

Men and women looked at her way, she's dazzling like an angel passing by and everyone was in awe of her beauty. She's fairer than an ordinary good person and her eyes are blue and her hair white. Her hanbok flies away as she walked making her look a like a fairy walking into thin air, her steps as subtle as anyone can hear.

As she walked closer, she stared at the man sitting on the throne. His skin is pale and he wore a hanbok for men of black and gold, adding contrast to his skin, making him look strikingly beautiful for her eyes too see. He has that piercing eyes she had ever seen, as if he can see everything deep within her.

She stopped below on the stairs and smiled at him, "Greetings to the King, I am Seungwan from the other side." she bowed to him as she is taught by her sister.

"Come closer."

Wendy looked up, "Eh?"

His face became grim, "Closer."

Wendy swallowed her saliva and grab her dress so she can step on the stairs, there were atleast ten steps before she could reach him.

A man standing by his side turned to him, he's very handsome too "King, as what I've said, don't rush yourself. It might hurt your body."

Are they referring to her as 'it'? Or the thing inside her body?

"I know."

Wendy stopped two steps above and sat on the stair then bowed her head once again. It's the norms for both worlds that a slave must not step foot on the same level as the King or you will be punished.

"What are you doing there? Sit right here." He said in an angry tone.

Wendy was baffled, what? He looked at the seat beside him as if telling her to sit there.

"But I'm a slave, a slave should not be by your side." She voiced out without thinking twice.

"Who said that you're a slave?" He turned to the man standing beside him, "Didn't they told her?"

"It seems that the King at the other side doesn't know."

"umm... What should I know?" she interjected, feeling lost.

Both of them looked at her. The King, dignified with power stood up on his throne and kneeled on one knee infront of her. Holding her chin with his cold fingers, he lifted her face as if searching her deep blue eyes and her slightly opened lips, he inched his face closer to hers. As if by force, Seungwan found herself lost in his gaze.

"That you, my dear princess will become my wife."
