Nkechi's Dilemma

Episode 1

It was early in the morning wen Papa nkechi started gathering his farm tools ready to go to the farm without even taking his breakfast,just as Mama nkechi came out of her room yawning and repairing her wrapper at the same Time..
Papa nkechi , Good morning,where are you going to Early this morning?She asked.
Am going to the farm , because am sure we don't have enough food in this house .he said
Yes,she answered shotly" but its too early,you haven't even taken ur breakfast...she said worriedly..
I will be back very soon he said,in a comforting way...
Okay,she said,Safe Return and he exit.
Nkechi came out of her room Around 7 am with her school bag oh her back..She greeted her mom...
Mama Good morning..
Her mother looked at her daughter and smiled sweetly at her before she said"Nkechi my daughter, good morning, how was your night?She inquired.
nkechi Smiled back,it was fina mama And yours?
It was fine too my dear....u are ready for school already?She added
Yes Mama,I don't want to be late ...I should better get going....she said readjusting her school back properly on her back....
Won't you eat something before u go,? Asked her mom
Mama I don't want to be late..she said squeezing her face..
Oh come on,eat something before u go okay? u will be hungry before u come back and I don't have even a penny to give u to buy something,so better eat her mom said..
Nkechi dashed to the kitchen after dropping her school bag and went to get her food of boiled yam with red oil..
She was eating wen she asked her mom of her dad...her mum replied .
He said he is going to the farm,,He will be back soon..
Okay,if he comes back tell him I have gone to school,she hurriedly finished her breakfast ,washed her hands,hugged her mom ,picked her back and wave her mom Good bye,then she exit.
