Nkechi  A young, beautiful respectful girl of About 19 years old is the daughter of a poor farmers in the village of  igbati".

She is the sixth and only surviving child of her parents, her mom had given birth to 6 children but all had died,Nkechi had came after many years ..whereas her mom had lost all hope.

Nkechi is a strong young girl growing up to be an impactful Lady with All features of her beautiful mom.

She is presently in ss3 in a Village far away from her own village.She normally trek from her village to school without complaining.

Because she wanted to be educated,to become a medical doctor and help people.that was her dream.

In school that day at the assembly ground,the principal of "Girls high school announced the commencement of the upcoming Waec and neco which will be starting in a bit.    telling them to all pay their fees before then.

Nkechi sighed after hearing the amount...24 thousand naira for both Waec and neco.
She couldn't concentrate throughout that day in class that her only best friend lucy observed that her friend looks disturbed walked over to her During break time.

Hey , smile,that frown make u look like a ghost."...Said Lucy as she came and sat close to her friend under a tree,.    Nkechi sighed and smiled weakly at her friend.
Then she said"Do I really look like a ghost?
Lucy giggled....Any Kobo for ur thoughts,u have been disturbed since morning...care sharing with ur best friend.?
Am fine...She shrugged...am just thinking of my life"...
Lucy laughed teasingly...."I thought u might be thinking of u know...she wiggles her eyebrows and the both of them burst out laughing...

U are unbelievable,why on Earth would I think of him...

Who knows... said Lucy as she rolled her eyes.

But on a serious note,it's been long that I saw him,since wen I was going to fetch water and he followed me,I haven't seen him again"

Well that confirms my doubts,u were absolutely thinking of him..

No,I was thinking of something more better than that, something very important to me ..she said suddenly remembering wat she had in mind .

Wat could that be?asked Lucy looking all serious and concerned .

Lucy,nkechi turned to her with a worried expression"am thinking of where and how to get my exam fees,am scared I won't be able to pay,Papa doesn't have any money,I won't even talk about mama,so u see am hopeless and it's been on my mind since morning,I don't know what else to do"she said looking more confused and disturbed.

Lucy held her hand,"nkechi,stop overthinking,u Don't know what God have in store for u,we still have a month,who knows before then,U will be able to get the money?

Wat if I don't,how would I even get the money.. possibilities of getting the money is Soo rare,av lost hope."..she said bitterly
