The fall of four

It has been about two weeks since Caseys and mine birthdays. Nothing could have gotten worse, but it did. After Casey found out about Elijah's son ,Cody,  she didn't want anything to do with Elijah or Chris. Chris and I were still dating so I had to slip away from Casey just to see him.

From what I heard from Chris, Elijah was taking it well. Elijah got back with Kathleen, they got Cody back and now he is being a father to his son. Every other day I go over to Elijah's and Kathleen's apartment and have dinner with them, Cody there little boy who is three , looks just like Elijah, has dark hair and his ice blue eyes.

Casey on the other hand had not left my apartment in two weeks since the party. It been long nights of her staying up watching the note book and crying on my shoulder, she has ruined many of my shirts, but one night she found me leaving the apartment to go to Elijah's and Kathleen's." Haley," She had a blanket raped around her shoulders  and her hair was messy" Where are you going?"

"Um... I'm just heading out to get food..."I stuttered.

"Your lying. I know you have been going to see Chris for the last two weeks. I guess I will just get out of your hair and leave!"she dropped the blanket and grabbed her pocket book and ran out the door.

It took only seconds for me to realize what just happened. I broke down crying. I laid in the floor until the next day when Chris came to see why I never showed up.

He opened  the door and I was laying right in front of the door curled up in a ball raped in the blanket Casey had on the night before.
"Oh god... Haley what happened?"

"She's gone..." I spoke muffled.

"What? Where is Casey?" He said confused and dropped down next to me on the floor.

" Casey she found out I was still seeing you and she left. I don't know where she is. She could be dea-" I laid into Chris's arms crying not being able to finish my words. Chris quickly grabbed his phone and called Elijah.

"Elijah we have a problem," I could not hear him but I could hear Chris." Casey, she left Haley's last night. We need to fined her," he was trying to help me fined my best friend." I don't care. She is still our friend and she might be hurt," He put the phone down and stood me up.

" Elijah, is he going to help?" I asked remove the tears from my blood shot eyes.

" Yeah, Yeah he is." Chris sounded unsure of his answer. I got cleaned up and put new clothes on, I put on a light grey and navy striped sweater and just plan black jeans with  knee high grey boots. After I looked like I didn't sleep on the floor we headed over to Elijah's and Kathleen's.

After we found which building they lived in we saw Elijah and Kathleen, she was holding Cody while waiting for us." Come on Elijah we have to get going!" Chris yelled from the car. Elijah nodded and kissed Kathleen and Cody goodbye and ran over to the car.

" Ok, where are we going to look first?"he said leaning between the two seats from the back.

" We are going to Miami." I said pointing out the window.

"Why Miami?" He said making fun of me pointing out the window.

"You will see!" Chris yelled. After Elijah shut up we drove from New York to Miami. Once we arrived we headed straight for Casey's parents beach house. We pulled up next to the two story, light blue house.

"Chris, Elijah stay here I'm going to go talk to her."I said slowly opening the door. The boys nodded and Chris turned off the car. I walked up to the door, I found the extra key.

I walked in, Casey was laying in kitchen passed out."CASEY," I ran over to her side and started to shake her so she would wake up" Come on Casey wake up I need to talk to you!" She opened her eyes and instantly rubbed her head.

"Keep it down I have a heart ache!" She said slurring.

"You know why you are mad at Elijah, because you can't except the fact he was once in love with Kathleen,"I felt sorry for Casey " look do you want to stay in Miami for a bit?"

" yeah but I don't want to be alone. Stay with me..." She hugged me like a bear. I stood up and walked out the door and over to the car. I pecked on the window and Chris rolled it down.
" Just go!"I yelled at the two.

"What...why?"Chris look like he was about in tears.

" I want you and Elijah to leave and go back to New York. I'm staying with Casey."I said turning away from the window.
"But...but... I love y-" I cut him off I was in love with him also by Casey was my best friend I had to stay and help her.

" No, don't say it I never want to see either of you ever again!" I could not look at them. I had tears pouring down my face like a water fall.

" Fine! I guess I can go back to my single days of drinking and sleeping with more than 200 Women!" I want to turn and say no, but I had to let him go. He was not the only guy who's heart i would have to break.

" Good bye Christopher!"I kicked the car and walked back into the house where Casey was up getting food. I walked over to the couches and laid down. I hit the cushions with the big puff of air.

" Haley what's wrong?" She asked with popcorn in her mouth.

" I just broke up with Chris. Also I told him I never wanted to see him ever again." I was sobbing into the pillows. I thought as I laid there, I will come out of this with my best friend and come out stronger than before, but the damage has been done and the quad squad was dismembered. That was the fall of the four and was the worst day in my life.
