Got Back to Our Feet

It has been two months of getting back on our feet for Casey and I. We had to get new jobs, apply for the colleges down there, and buy all new things. For the past two  months I have been sitting on the floor of my room watching scary moves, hopingd that one of the times I get scared Chris will be there to comfort me. After two weeks of doing this I realized that Chris was gone for good and he was not coming back to me ever.

After a week of being in Miami, Casey and I found this little bar hidden from the world called creatures. Creatures is a hole in the wall bar a total of maybe fifty people go to on a Friday. We know every human that walks though the door. Sometimes I wish I could forget who some of the people were, but there was one guy that I wish I would never forget, he is this really tall, bar tender that is so sweet to Casey and I. Sadly he is married and has two kids who Casey can't stand.

Ever since she found out about Elijah's son, Cody, she wants to kill every kid she sees. Besides Casey's sad love life, I had to head back up to New York to get some of my things from Christopher's apartment, so I called Elijah and asked him to meet me at the college with my things. Which he did, but the last thing walking on two legs I wanted to see was there, Christopher, he was in the back of Elijah's car making out with some girl. So I asked " Elijah who's that girl?"

" What girl," He turned around to see what I was talking about" What the Hell. I locked the car so this would not happen. God dammit Chris!"

" Well... Goodbye Elijah." I gave him a hug and walked away. Once I was sitting in the car I started to think while driving down the highway what happened to the Christopher that I used to know. I wanted to know, so I took a sharp turn and crashed up the hill next to the road and flipped my car upside down.

I didn't remember what happened after I flipped, I could remember what happened after I woke up. I woke up to Chris standing over me." She's awake! SHES AWAKE!" He shouted , then Elijah and Kathleen came running though the door.

" Omg thank god your awake the doctor said you might be in a comatose state!" Kathleen yelled, " Ok Elijah and I are going to go get the doctor and tell her your awake."she grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the room. Chris and I sat in silence for twenty minutes. It was the most awkward silence ever, all he did was sit in the chair and watch the doctors make sure I was ok to leave.

After I was cleared to leave I thought about the fact that I have to call Casey and tell her that I crashed, but I didn't want her to worry about me. At first I though about asking Elijah and Kathleen if I could stay the night with them, then I thought about Chris. It had been bugging me that he went from sweet an caring to a player so I just had to ask. " What happened to you Chris?"

" What happened to me, you happened. You broke my heart and now I'm to scared to trust another girl. That's all because you Haley!" He was walking about the room yelling.

" Chris you have to understand that I had to stay with Casey, she is my best friend."I sat up and hung my feet off the bed.

" But you didn't have to break my heart the way you did!" He screeched running out of the room. I sat on the hospital bed for a little while. Then I found it time for me to head back to Miami.

I stood up and found my old clothes laying on the floor in a pile. I picked up my bra and under wear, I pulled up my navy blue jeans, I went to grab my shirt , but there was no shirt. I looked all over and I couldn't fined it. I gave up and just threw my hoodie over my bra and zipped up the jacket and left for Miami.
