1. This is me

Hi, my names Isabella Arabelle Jonsin. I'm 16 years old and I live in Nebraska with my dad, Jason Arnold Jonsin and my 18 year old brother, Chase Arnold Jonsin. Yes, he has the same middle name as my father because it's a family name, just like Arabelle is. It was also my mothers first name. My mothers name was Arabelle Elisabeth Jonsin. She died when I was 10. I was very close with my mother as was Chase. You see, my dad is a business man, always away on business trips or staying late at the office to get things done, so my mother was always the one at home raising me and my brother.

My mother died of cancer. It was a shock to us all and when we found out we done whatever we could to help her. Even though we were told it was terminal, I still never gave up hope, I always had this thought in the back of my mind that she would miraculously recover and everything would be fine. But it wasn't. 4 months after we found out about the cancer she died.

After she died I sort of shut down. I felt so alone and just stayed in the house for weeks on end. Not seeing or speaking to any of my friends. Accept for one, Sammy.

Yes, my best friend in whole entire world is Samuel Wilkinson. Both of our parents were best friends so we have know each other since we were born, and we also live next door to each other, so there's no escaping him. Sam is like a brother to me and we are so close, we tell each other everything. Including some things I wouldn't even tell my own brother.

Me and Chase are really close and he can be really overprotective at times, just like sam can be. Chase and Sams big brother Ben are like brothers and both of our families are super close. Maybe even 'too' close in Chase and Emily's case. Em is one of Sams older sisters and let's just say her and Chase have had a 'thing' in the past.

I don't have a lot of friends. Sure you could say I was in with the 'popular' group in school, so I sort of knew everyone in a way but i only had a small group of really close friends. That group consisted of Sam, Jack G, Jack J and Nate. Of course I had other close friends like Brock, Mallory, Mike and others but the five boys were my closest. Sometimes we may get a little "too" close.
