McGonagall tapped a shiny teaspoon on a goblet, the sound ringed around the great hall and grabbed everyone's attention.The students stopped talking; that was, most of the students.Some of them were still whispering to each other.
"Attention please!Quiet, everyone."McGonagall waited until everyone was quiet.
"Now, due to the suprisingly large amount of students asking for another ball like the yule ball hosted a few years ago during the triwizard tournament, I and the other members of staff have decided to organise a new years ball for the seventh and eighth years.This time we decided not to make students have dance classes before the ball, as a lot of people seemed to find it unneccessary..."the old professor continued to talk for a while longer about the details.
