Chapter 9

IZZY'S POV

I felt bad when dad forced me to show him the room. Then he asked me how much i spent for it.

It hurts me to know my dad doesn't even trusts me. Well I can't blame him his never around to know what I'm always like anyways.

He only come home during our birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, well sometimes Valentine to spend some time with mum. So I guess it's normal he doesn't know me.

Anyway he apologized for it when he called me over to the kitchen and basically forced me to take his wallets.

Now Wesley and I are having a bet on who gets to the Arcade first, the loser buys the tickets.

" Izzy could you slow down a little please." Ever said from the back.

" You have money to pay for everyone's tickets." I asked.

" No. But you do." Ever answered.

" That doesn't mean I want to". I answered.

" But your dad gave you his credit card." She said holding tightly at the head rest of my car sit.

" Yes... but I need it to buy some shoes for my blog." I answered with a toothy smile.

" Ace why did you ask if there was a mall beside the arcade." I asked.

" I just wanted to get something." He said while I nodded confused.

We got to the arcade before Wesley but I'm couldn't let him pay for the tickets all by himself so I offered to pay for Ace and I while he paid for Shawn and Everly- well I almost did but Ace streched out his credit card to pay for the tickets.

Getting into the arcade we didn't know what to do. So, we decided to find the most mature game could play when I got an idea.

" Shawn I challenge you to a game of magic tiles." Childish I know but I really wanted to beat Shawn's high score. But instead he got a higher score than the last one, while I beat his last high score with just two points.

" How are you always so good." I said sulking while being laughed at.

Let's play laser tag." Everly said beaming eyes.

" Yeah." I said, "At least I can challenge you again." I said still not accepting my previous defeat.

" Fine." Shawn said knowing I won't let him be until I beat him at something.

" Which team will you be on." Everly asked.

" I don't kn- " Shawn dragged Everly to his side cutting me of.

"She'll be with me as always." He said

"Okay I'll be with Ace" I said walking over to his side.

" What about you wessy?"  I said looking at my Wesley.

Wessy is the name I call Wesley, it's what I've been calling him since I could talk.

"I don't know Izzy maybe I should sit this one out." He replied looking at me.

"Are you sure?" I asked as he nodded walking to the side.

"Okay let's begin."

" That was so funny." Ever said as we all laughed walking out of the arcade.

"I know right." I said chuckling

" Who would have thought that you would win." Wesley said looking at me.

"Why can't I win?" I said pouting

"I meaning you were playing against Shawn." He said looking at me.

" Well... Because we  have the best team power ever." I said looking at Ace.

" What got me the most was when Ever kicked Shawn after they lost." I said still giggling

"What... Who told him to be distracted." She said glaring at Shawn whose ears were red.

Shawn had always been that way around Ever, I always had a suspension that Ever was his mate but he never told anyone about it, not even Ever.

Ever is sixteen this year while Shawn is eighteen, I think he is a little scared or is waiting for her to find out he liked her but Ever has a really low EQ. She might be sixteen but she has a very high IQ that's why she's in her final year along with the rest of us well except Wesley he graduated last year.

"So what do you want to buy at the mall?" I said looking at Ace.

" My sister said I should get her something." He answered.

" Okay, " I said to him before tugging at his hands. " I'm hungry."

"Let's go get something to eat." He  said to Shawn before walking into the mall

After eating Ace bought a gaming console and a few other thing.

" I going to the toilet." Ace said hand the few bags in his hand to me as I nodded and walked to the shoe section.

' I did tell Dad that I was going to get some shoes' i thought while browsing through the shelves of shoes.

"Hm..." I whimpered. 'why am I feeling so much pain' I thought not knowing what was happening.

"Ah... " I shouted.

"What's wrong Izzy?" Wesley said looking worried.

" Nothi- Ah..." I said curling up.

" Shit... She's shifting."  said Shawn coming close to me.

"What... What should we do." Ever said coming over to me.

" Ever, call Uncle Keegan and tell him the situation." Shawn said. " While Wesley and I will carry her to the car."

As the were about to lift me up I was scooped up by a pair of arms.

"Let's go." Ace said while walking out of the mall.

"Wesley drive Izzy's car with Everly, I'll drive them over with my car." Shawn said tossing Wesley my car keys.

" Baby it's okay." Ace said to me as I whimpered.

"Ruby  we're finally going to shift." I said to her

"Yeah , but it's so painful. "   she said whimpering.

"Ah..." I shouted as I felt my bones cracking.

"Don't worry we're almost home." Shawn said looking at me through the rearview mirror.

My face was covered with tears as I felt my bones cracking over and over as it repositioned itself.

"We are here."  Shawn said as I was he pulled open the door.

"Oh darling..." I heard my mom say as Ace me pulled out of the car.
