Virgil's PoV
I had just arrived home late and I was trying not to get caught by my mother or father. I was walking through my bedroom door when the worst thing that could have possibly happened, happened... I creaked a floorboard...
" WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HOME LATE!" My mother yelled, which hurt my ears (as in my cat ears)
"I .."
"Don't speak you little brat! Pack your stuff! I'm kicking you out for the night!!!" She practically screamed at me.
I quickly packed all of my essentials, a spare change of clothes, food, water and a lighter, you might be wondering why I have a lighter. Well ya see she's done this on many occasions, last time for a week, so I need to light fires to stay warm scene as I didn't have any friends. I would go to Janus or Remus' house but I don't know where they live...
~5 Hours Later~
Remus' PoV
"Hey mum, I'm going over to Janus' for the night!" I said, backpack on my shoulder.
"Okay Re, stay safe!" My mum replied hastily scene as she was still working! Why was she still working at 7pm?I don't know actually, but it's fine.
I decided to take a shortcut instead and go through the park because it was getting dark and I didn't want to walk out in the dark today, I just wasn't in the right mood.
As I was walking through the park, I saw there was a fire lit so I went over to investigate (me: why? Because this is Remus we're talking about!) and I saw...
" Virgil?" I said.
