Music and life aren't they the same?

Dreams...

"Dad, I am home" I said cheerly 

"Welcome back" Dad said as he came out of a room the I am STRICTLY forbidden to enter 

"So whats for lunch today?" I asked as I went to the kitchen I sniffed "Whatever it is, it smells good" 

My eyes widened and I smiled brightly "SUSHI" I ran towards the table in excitment "Did you make this Dad?" I said smiling widely 

"Hehe..." Dad scratched the back of his head and laughed "N-no hehe your big brother made it" 

"Big brother made it? you could try doing something yourself.." 

"Sorry, I am busy with work" 

"Where is Big brother?" 

"In his room" 

"Oh, okay" I said and ate the sushi. After eating I went to Big brother's room, I opened the door.

"Aww big brother is sleeping" I went to him and got on his bed I then crawled next to him "You look choo cute.~" I said as I laid next to him,

"I'll lay here until you wake up big brother" I said as I smiled but I fell asleep. 

after an hour, I got up big brother is still sleeping I pouted as I thought. I then saw water in his eyes I used my thumb to wipe it away "big brother why are you crying" I frowned, that's when he woke up he streached and yawn "Midori what are you doing here?" He asked half sleeping 

"I just wanted to say thanks for making sushi for me" I said as I smiled and tilted my head a little

"Hey what would you do if I were to die?" He asked as he sadly smiled 

I started to tear up "I- I w-would c-c-cry of-of course o-or i'd-" I was interruped by the sudden hug Big brother gave me "I didn't mean to make you cry" He said looking dejected 

"it's okay" I wiped my tears away 

"Hey, would be alright if I brought a friend along with me tomorrow?" He asked trying to cheer me up 

I smiled "That'd be great" 

He patted my head and smiled "time to eat dinner, what do you want to eat?" 

"Curry" 

"Okay" He got up from his bed and went outside I followed him, I helped him cook, He told me a lot about the friend he was bringing along tomorrow. 

"Time for bed" Dad said, I went to my room "I'll be going see ya tomorrow" Big brother said "You are not gonna stay?" I pouted "No, sorry" I shut the door and went on my bed and fell asleep.

~The next day.~ 

"I'm home" A voice said, I rushed to the door on realizing who it was. 

"Big brother!" I exclaimed as I hugged him 

"Aww~ your sister is so cute.~" An unfamiliar voice said 

"Oh you must be Big brother's friend" I said as I smiled 

"I sure am, My name is Reiji Kotobuki! but you can call me Rei-chan" He said as he smiled brightly

"I'm Midori, nice to meet you" I said while still smiling 

We talked for awhile. We then played Hide and go seek for awhile.

"Your sister is really good in finding people" Reiji said as he patted my head, in return I grinned 

"I'm hungry" I whined

"Oh yea, I didn't cook anything when I came back" Big brother said as he went to the kitchen to cook

While Big brother was cooking Reiji and me played chess "You are good, but check mate" Reiji said as he grinned

"That was a wrong move" I said as I picked up my queen

"What how???" He questioned looking very confused

"Because you moved you horse and all your other game peices towards my king you forgot all about my queen, which is now open to attack" I said as I smiled "Check" Reiji ruffled his hair like a maniac "One more time" he said refusing to admit that he lost from a little girl "No, it is boring since you always lose" I said as I kept my chin on my hand

"I won't lose this time"  

"You said that last time aswell but you lost" I sighed

We had alot of fun Shiori who was my best friend in school spened time with us too, We had so much fun, We would sing, play instruments, play chess and many other games together we even danced together but .... it ended up pretty bad, though the important thing was we all had fun. Until one day...

"Why hasn't big brother come home yet?" I asked dad with a worried look

"He has" Dad said 

"He did, where is he?" I asked 

"He's asleep so don't bother him" 

"okay" I went to my room but wasn't able to sleep for some reason and I was thirsty, I went outside to get a glass of water but I saw big brother come out of his room, I was gonna say something to him but stopped as I saw how depressed he was he then got a jacket and went outside I was so curious to find out where he was going so I followed him my inner self told me to stay but I just wanted to know if he was okay but. . . I regret following him now, no I regret not saying anything to him earlier. I never thought someone could get hurt if you say nothing to them. . .

I followed him out to the sea. He had this aura around him which really frightened me but also made me worried. I was thinking of a way to approach him and that's when I saw him jump of a cliff  

"AINE!!!!" By the time I screamed it was too late he was already drowning. I started to cry everything turned black I was so horrified I looked around tears streaming down my eyes.

It was all your fault 

I fell on to my knees

he's gone because of you 

N-no I did did not do do anything

if you would have just stopped him before he left the house... or maybe you wanted him to die..  '
