Summer Love: A Niall Horan Fanfic (Completed)

Chapter 19

"Niall, where are you?" I said to myself, tapping the counter rhythmically. Niall and I were going to go out for brunch at 10 and it's 11:30.
"Where do you think he is?" I asked Nicole.
Right after I said that, Madilyn bursted into the room. "Umm..I think I know." In her hand she held her phone, which had a picture of Niall & Miranda smiling at each other. It was posted by Miranda nearly twenty minutes ago.
"He didn't blow me off!" I stormed out of the room. They both just shut their mouths and let me leave the room.

Nialler🥰:
Hey baby. I'm soooooo sorry about this morning. Miranda and I apparently had a date this morning. Management never tells me these things ahead of time.
Really though? This keeps happening and I'm starting to worry.
Anyway be ready by noon. Just comfy clothes.

Me:
Um okay? I'll be ready

Sure enough, at noon, Niall showed up with a smile that couldn't contain his excitement. He gave me a hug then walked me to the car.
"So where are we going? Don't tell me! A surprise?" We laughed.
"No I guess I can tell you. Okay so we're going to the hotel. But the rest is a surprise." I rolled my eyes in disappointment.

"So I figured..." He started pulling out some DVDs. "That we could finally cash in our rain check for the movie." I started to blush for like the thousandths time.
"I can't believe you remembered. To be honest...I didn't." He chuckled with a bright smile. While he set up the movie, I popped some popcorn. And of course, 2 bags for Niall and one for me. I love him so much. I grabbed a soft blanket and stole one of his comfy hoodies. I can't believe there's only one more week 'til summer's over and we leave. We really need to talk about it, but not tonight. I put the popcorn in our respective bowls, because he thought that I would eat his. I cuddled close into his chest while watching the movie.

After the movie ended my beautiful, blonde boyfriend looked nervous. He kept looking at his watch during the movie.
"What's wrong babe?" I asked cleaning up the popcorn on the floor.
"Nothing sweetie. But it's almost time for the last surprise." He explained, gently kissing my hair. After cleaning up a quickly brushed my hair and sat in the couch by Niall. What's going on?
   "You ready?" He looked so happy. He was smiling so big I could see his dimples. I smiled back, nodding, then pecked his lips.
   He flipped open his laptop and opened Skype. I looked at him with concerned eyes.
   "Please don't panic. Okay first off, I miss my family a lot. So..we Skype every week or so. And today's that day." I started to get off the couch, but Niall gently took hold of my hand.
   "Are got crazy?! I'll make a fool of myself in front of your family." I protested.
   "Savvi. They're excited to meet you. Well...as much as you can virtually. But you're all I've been talking about with them and they really wanted to talk to you. They're lovely people and very kind.......please?" He begged with pleading eyes. I agreed and a few moments 3 smiling faces popped up on the screen. Sounds good right? No. Niall just walked out of the room to take a call or something!
   "Umm Hi!" I started, nervously waving. They looked shocked. Oh no! Did I say something wrong?
   "I'm Savannah. Niall's girlfriend." Their facial expressions changed to smiles.
   "Hello dear! I'm Maura. This is my other son Greg and his wife Denise. Theo is sleeping in the other room." She explained.
   "Well it's nice to meet you all. So Theo was born on the 16th?" I asked. They excitedly nodded. "Well congratulations. Niall is so excited about being an uncle and can't wait to meet him."

   Before long Niall showed up which helped a little, but it was a good conversation. They asked me questions to get to know me, then I listened to some cute embarrassing stories about Niall. Now it's 4pm and we're just sitting around on our phones. I just came across a mention on Twitter that really shook me up.

@casey_malik28 @savannahxarcher    What are you and your friends going to do after the boys go home and on tour? Also I'd love a Q&A with you and them sometime.

   "Hey Ni?" I started. His attention now focused on me. "What are we going to do after you go to Ireland and I go back to Georgia?" My voice was shaking. He got up, walked over to me and pulled me into a hug.
   "I guess I never really thought of that. Has this been bothering you princess?" I nodded. "I'm so sorry I didn't noticed sooner sweetie. I think we'll be perfectly fine. Long distance works. We'll Skype everyday and every night. Before and after every show when I'm on tour. And I'm sure Perrie and El will help you through it. Plus you've got Nikki who's going through it right beside you."
"Well not at college." I whispered, but he heard.
"Have you talked to your parents yet?" He asked, but I shook my head. "If you want I'll go with you. I love you so much Princess. More than you'll ever know." He kissed my forehead. I hugged him tight until we decided to leave and meet the others for dinner.
