I turn around to see my son, Luke, run up to me.
"Hey, kiddo did you need something?"
"I was....I was wondering how you met mom? Its ok if you can't talk about her, I can tell that you miss her."
I chuckle. "Yea I loved your mom with all of my non-existant heart. I would be dishonoring her by not telling you. C'mere and sit down."
He sits down looking up at me.
"By the time I was your age I'd give anything"....*flashback starts*

'I wonder if Grillby's is full', I think as I walk towards it. When I walk in I'm hit with the familiar smells of the food.
Stomach grumbling I sit down next to my skelely buddy, Sans.
"Heya (y/n)."
"Hey Pluto", I use my nickname for him.
He grins and turns to talk to Grillby.
I saw something in his eyes however when he looked at me.
I tap him on his shoulder. "Hey Pluto?"
He turns around. "Yea?"
"I can't help but notice the way you looked at me."
I can see a blush start to creep onto his face.
"I can tell by your eyes that you're in love with me." I say smiling.
*present time*
I look away from Luke.
"Now son, I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things." I say sighing.
"Now most of the time me and your mom would drink a lot. I don't want you drinking.", I say with a stern face.
"Ok dad, can you continue already?", Luke says rolling his eyes.
I smile. "We'd laugh at the stars and we'd share everything. Too young to notice and too dumb to care, love was a story that couldn't compare." A wave of nostalgia hits me hard.

I'm finally going to make (Y/n) my wife! As I walk towards her I can see her eyes brighten.
Those beautiful (e/c) eyes that I would always catch myself getting lost in.
"(Y/n) can I tell you a wonderful thing?"
"Sure!" She beams, "What is it?"
"I made you a present with paper and string.", I had her the tiny box. "Open with care now I'm asking you please, you know that I love you will you marry me?"

"Now Luke, you'll learn one day I hope and I pray that God shows you differently.", I say with tears streaming down my face.

(Y/n) sighs.
"Pluto can I tell you a terrible thing? It seems that I'm sick and I only have weeks." She pulls him close and hugs him. "Please don't be sad now, I really believe that you were the greatest thing that ever happened to me.", she says trying not to cry.

"Slow, so slow, I fell to the ground on my knees." I look at Luke.
"So don't fall in love , there's just too much to lose. If you're given the choice then I beg you to choose, to walk away don't let her get you.", I say breaking down
"I can't bear to see the same thing ever happen to you.", I whisper while crying.
"Now son I'm only telling you this because life can do terrible things."
