Toad was on his way to spend some time with his girlfriend Ruby only to have his heart broken.
Toad: I wonder why Ruby has been avoiding me lately? It's not like her at all.
When he got to team RWBY's dorm he heard moaning.
Toad: that sounded like Ruby but.....no. She can't be doing "that" is she? If so then who's she with?
He peeked in through the door and saw his girlfriend having sex with Mercury.
Ruby: *moans* right there! You're so much better than Toad!
Toad was in tears from being heartbroken. A song ran through his head.
With this song in mind, he was thinking about the lyrics. The first verse of the song he was thinking about Ruby and how she betrayed him.
Toad: why Ruby? Just why? Did I do something wrong in our relationship to make you cheat on me? Was I a bad boyfriend?
In the song's chorus, he was thinking about the one person who always made him happy, Blake Belladonna. He was thinking about her in the second verse of the song and how she was always there for him. For most of the song, he has been thinking about Blake. And possibly Yang.
