Jughead's Perspective

I woke up at 6:00 am to the sound of my alarm in a new place it took me a couple seconds to remember everything that happened and everything me and my dad talked about yesterday. Once I realized that I had to get ready for school I got up took a shower got dressed in my basic black jeans, S t-shirt, and  iconic beanie. I headed out of the room and into the kitchen to see my dad on the phone making breakfast. I waved to not interrupt his phone call served myself breakfast and ate. I realized I had extra time so after my dad hung up I asked him who he was on the phone with.

I was on the phone with an old friend Tom Keller the sheriff of this town

Why?

Because I want to get a job at the sheriff's station they pay well and I know the guy so I thought I could get the job no problem

Did you get the job or do you still have to be interviewed and stuff

I still have to be interviewed but he thinks I will get the job considering we knew each other practically our entire lives.

O ok whens your interview

Its later today when your in school

O well hope it goes well but I have to get to school so I will see you later.

With that I walked out of the trailer and was on my way to school.

Once I got there I walked into the building it was run down and looked like it was going to fall down and crash at any moment but I walked into the office and was greeted by a lady there she asked what I needed told her I was new and she gave me my class scheduled it was not to hard to find my first class considering the school itself was no so big. Once I walked into class I seen a  lot of different students they all looked intimidating and I automatically felt like this was going to be the exact same as Toledo. The teacher asked me my name and as soon as I  said it everyone laughed I know Jughead is a funny name but with everyone laughing at me I just felt like I already knew what was about to happen for the rest of the day and maybe even the rest of the school year.

Betty's Perspective

I woke up got ready for school went to eat breakfast when my mom said she needed to talk to me

Elizabeth I need to tell you something about your father

What happen mom

Your father left last night in the middle of the night he left a note saying that he left early because he could deal with me anymore so he got up and left and is never going to come back I am so sorry you never got to say good bye honey. She started to say as she teared up

Mom its ok its not your fault I never really liked my dad anyways if i had to say good bye to him it would've been forced i cant stand that man all he did was yell and hit you, you don't and didn't  deserve that

Are you sure honey I mean he's your father and you never got to say good bye

I am sure mom he may be biological father but he will never earn the title of a dad from me

I hugged her and made sure she knew that I loved her and that I didn't care about my father which is true because he never really cared for me. Once my mom stopped crying we talked a little on how she was going to pay the bills. The houses on the North Side are expensive and its hard to pay for it. Both my parents had a job and we could afford it no problem but with only mu moms salary we couldn't she told me no to worry and to hurry to school before I was late.
