Paige's POV
"Welcome to your new home, Mrs. Davenport" Mr. Davenport flirted with his wife and he walked into the living room carrying her bridal style.
"Why thank you, Mr. Davenport," Tasha replied back emphasizing the Mr.
"We get it! You got married!" Leo said walking into the living room carrying bags. He dropped them quickly.
"It's getting old!" I say with slight annoyance in my voice. I step through the door way. "Oh wow!" I look around me in amazement.
"You got this big house just from inventing things?" Leo says as Mr. Davenport nods.
"Way to go Tasha! Now THAT'S a husband" I say smiling at her. We high-five.
"What the heck is that?!" Leo says point to a giant stand in the middle of the room.
"Oh. That's my newest invention. Davenport Industries' first completely interactive 3-D TV" Mr. Davenport turns it on and a baseball game is going on. A ball is hit into the crowd and hurls toward Leo. Leo hits the wall.
"Watch the face, Termite!" The black screen on the wall turns white and a little character pops up. Leo looked around worriedly.
"Mom, I think the little voice inside my head is back," Leo looks at his mom sheepishly. I laugh softly which receives a glare and an eye roll from Leo.
"No no. This is Eddy. He's my smart home system. Eddy, this is my new step son, Leo. Remember, I told you Tasha, Leo, and Paige are moving in today?" Mr. Davenport said to the smart screen
"Hello, Welcome. Everything here is mine!" Eddy said in which Mr. Davenport shot him a glare.
"I just wanted to thank you for letting me come live with you, Mr. Davenport," I say sweetly to him and he smiles and nods.
"Why don't you go check out you new bedrooms? Just go straight down that hallway and when you see the room with video games and the action figures and the 50-foot-screen TV... keep walking-- That's mine," Leo glared at him and I laughed. I nudged Leo and we both started down the hallway. After we set our stuff in our rooms, which happened to be across the hall from each other, we went to look around. We came to an opening with chairs.
"This place is huge! I'm gonna need a GPS just to find the bathroom!" Leo said leaning against the wall. I nodded and blew out a breath. Suddenly, the wall became pixalated and two giant doors opened. We looked at each other and walked into the room. We heard the sound of elevator doors closing and looked behind us and the doors were closed. We feel the elevator take us down. As the doors open, me and Leo look around in awe.
"Whoa! My new dad is Batman!" Leo says shouting. I laugh at his ridiculousness and roll my eyes. Suddenly we hear two doors opening and I pull him behind yellow barrels. A guy about my age with brown hair came through them. He hit some buttons on the wall.
"Good luck getting in! That steel door is thicker than you head!"the boy says. A loud clank came from the other side of the door. I watch and the doors come flying off and a taller boy appears. "Well, there's another way to get in" the shorter boy tries to make a run for it but the taller boy grabs ahold of him by his collar and lifts him.
"Give me back my IPod!" The taller boy shouts as he holds the other one in the air.
"I don't have it!" He replies. Just than a short brownhaired girl walks in wearing headphones.
"Hey" she said. The taller boy gasps.
"You took my IPod!"
"Taylor Swift Mega-Mix? Really?" The girl asks in disbelief.
