Vermillion

Seeing the red and orange sunset at dusk.

The red makes me think that of a lonely traffic light.

And the orange makes my mind find the ruff feeling of my Penny Board wheel.

Instead of feeling hatred from the reddish color, I feel melody and warmth.

And the smell of vermillion colored fire glimmering in the distance comes to my nose.

Most people would think of the smell of sea grass along with the vermillion colored sunset.

And some say the taste of spice comes to their mouth.

Where I taste sweetness of a cherry or a strawberry.

Then I am pulled away by the call of a red cardinal in the distance.

As I look and see the sunset fading.

Then hear the lonely moan of car engines and horns in the distance.

And there sits the lonely red traffic light.
