Lisa's POV
It was just near the endof August, but the heat outside was still unbearable. It currently was ten o'clock, and you had just woken up.You didn't want to be late for breakfast, so you quickly got dressed, and trudged out of your room. After Kook left, you went to school for a couple of years, but when you came back , the King kindly gave you a room of your own . It was located in the West wing of the castle, and directly across from Kook's old room. You only ever went into that room up ,ever so often when you missed your bestfriend, but the door was sealed for the majority . Just as you turned the corner, you bumped into a grinning eleven year old Jimin.
"What's going on with you?" You asked curiously.
"Kook's coming home in tomorrow! " He said bouncing up and down with joy.
You started to grin wide, your bestfriend was coming home. You scarcely could explain the way you were feeling at this moment .
"That's not all! The day he gets back , their will be his Homecoming ball, and some of the guests are coming tonight!" He exclaimed, excited for a social event .
"Who's coming tonight? " You questioned
"Your friends, Princess Kim Jisoo, and Princess Park Roseanna." He replied as he walked away skipping down the castle halls .
You were excited, you couldn't remember the last time you had been to a ball. You would get to see the friends that you made at school. You smiled as you thought of them, that even though you weren't a princess they became friends with you . However, above all, you were excited to see Kook. It had been 8 years, but he always remained in your heart, he was your very best friend.
"He's coming home!" You squealed, running down the halls , and towards the kitchens.

Later that day , your friends started to arrive. Princess Jisoo arrived first along with Princess Rose . You waited at the staircase for them to get out of the car, then you embraced them into a hug.
"Hey girl, how have you been Lisa? "
"Good how about you Ji?" You replied " You too Rose?"
"I've been great!" Rose exclaimed
"I've been fine too." Ji replied with a grin on her face, as you showed them the palace.
Now ,the three of you currently sat in your bedroom, talking about the ball.
"So you excited to see your boyfriend Liz?" Jisoo smirked
"He's not my boyfriend! He's my best friend, whom I haven't seen in eight years!" You defended
"I know I was just teasing you ." She laughed
"We have to shock Kook tomorrow, about how beautiful his friend became." Rose said
"Right! We should look through the dresses we brought. " Ji replied
"Guys! I'm not a Princess, I shouldn't be wearing something extravagant. " You said.
"Nonsense, you may not have a title like the rest of us, but it's not our title that makes us a Princess. It's about who we are inside, and you have that quality." Rose stated.

"These are missing something." Ji said as they stared at the dresses
"Yes, they are missing that certain 'je ne sais quoi'." Rose said.
"Since when did you learn French? " You asked
Rose acknowledged your question by shrugging her shoulders before replying "Everybody knows that phrase."
The whole night, both of your friends were quite beside themselves on what to pick, which to your dismay , you got no say in this matter. The girls still hadn't decided after fifteen minutes, but a knock on the door broke their thoughts.
"I'll go get it ." You said walking to your bedroom door. You opened it and there was the Queen at your door holding a garment bag of a sort. "Your Majesty "
"Hello, Lisa. May I come in?" She asked.
"Of course. " You said as you made way for Queen Nikki. She entered the room, and saw your friends gathered around your bed.
"What are you girls up too?" She asked
"Your Majesty. " Jisoo said as they all bowed "We were trying to find Lisa a dress for tomorrow. We want her to look her best, but she doesn't have a dress of her own. Rose, and I brought her extra dresses for this purpose, but we can't seem to decide on one ."
"I think I might have a solution to your problem." Nikki said, opening the bag she had brought revealing a beautiful light blue dress with pink butterflies

"This was my dress when I was younger. I wore this when I was your age , and it was the night I met Dominic. We practically fell in love at first sight." She said
"It's perfect." Jisoo exclaimed, while Rose nodded
"It's beautiful, but I couldn't possibly wear your dress. I'd be afraid I'd ruin it." You said as you walked over to where the dress was layed.
"My darling,I'm not a young girl anymore. Someone might as well use it." She replied.
"Ok. Thank you Your Majesty. " You smiled and hugged her .
"Anytime, dear." Nikki said as she walked out of the room, grinning. She knew that all it would take was one glance, and you and Kook would fall in love. Even though you've been apart for awhile , you can't take away the memories you shared with that person.
After she left, your friends were planning on the rest of your ensemble for tomorrow night. One thing is for certain, they were planning to knock Kook's socks off.
