Craig
Always watching. Never talking. I can't... fuck. I can't. I watch as he goes over to the girls' table and chats up the girl he's been wanting for years. The one who's given him a taste and thrown him out five million times. I think she just wants the attention.
I watch as he gets rejected. I stare at my lunch tray and rest my head on my hand. I can't help but think about him coming over to me. Him putting his hand on my shoulder and asking me for coffee... but of course.... the straight guys don't want that. They don't want to be friends with a guy that has a crush on them...
But he doesn't see it.... he doesn't know. No... no. I'm obvious. I'm so obvious with the looks and the way I do everything! God you sound like such a creep.
A loud bang on the table snaps me from my thoughts as Clyde laughs at the small jump he caused.
"Thinking about him again?" He asks with a smirk.
I roll my eyes and my eyes drag down to my tray "Fuck off." I state
"Oh shit you are! Are you not over him? Dude it's been two years!"
"Shut up."
"If you haven't had the balls to talk to him yet then you probably won't ever!"
"Clyde I will beat you with this tray if you don't shut the fuck up."
"Aww he's embarrassed!"
Token shakes his head with a soft chuckle "Clyde stop it." He then looks at me and holds up a smile "He does have some sense into what he's saying. You've had the same crush for years. It's weird that you even have a crush! You should talk to him."
"Absolutely not." I shake my head, stabbing my gross school lunch and just playing with it.
"Oh it would be so cute to see Craig with a little boyfriend!" Clyde exclaims and grabs my arm, pulling me back and forth. I respond in a low groan.
"Please? Just try!" Clyde whines, and I'mmy annoyed enough to pull myself up and look in the direction of his table. I swallow and hide all of the anxious feelings that have plaguing my chest.
I take it one step at a time, my mind racing, planning the words that are gonna come out of my mouth. Before I can plan the next words I'm at his table and he's looking at me.
My eyes lock with his and I can feel my heart melt. Shit. No. I can't. I can't talk to him are you kidding me? Son of a bitch he's already looking at me.
"Do you maybe want to hang out with  friends and I later?" I ask and chuckle lightly.
"You and your friends? Or just you, gay boy?" He asks.
I laugh "Alright I'll see you later man." I turn to walk away.
Stan laughs back at me and shakes his head "I'm just playing with you, give me your digits." He opens his phone and creates a new contact, and I put my number in. He then sends me a text and I smile as I receive it.
"Good. You didn't give me a fake number."
     "Why would I?"
"I get that more often than you think."
"Yeah but those are girls giving you fake numbers."
     "Well you're gay."
"Yeah but that doesn't make me 'just some chick'"
"Whatever you say." He winks at me and I swear I could pass out right in front of him.
I laugh awkwardly and walk back to my table, where I'm congratulated by my friends for finally being a man. I laugh awkwardly and tell them what happened.
"With all of us? Why didn't you say just you?!" Clyde exclaims
"Because I'm gay! He's gonna think something is up if I just randomly ask him to hang out."
"You can! It's not gay! You don't like every man!"
"Right but stereotypically I do." I shrug
"You don't have a crush on me do you?"
"I'd rather light myself on fire than date you."
      "Craig that's so mean!"
"That makes you sound so gay." I chuckle and roll my eyes. "So are you gonna hang out with him and I or not?"
Clyde and Token look at each other, and Jimmy finally decides to look up from his notebook. He's probably working on the schools weekly paper.
"wh-w-what are we-we.... we talking about?" He asks
"You busy?" I ask, and he nods "alright you're out, but Token and Clyde... you two are in right?"
"I'm in! I can't wait to see this." Clyde smirks.
     "I'm in too." Token says
I smile at the two and sigh, looking down at the message Stan had sent me.
   [Unknown Number: Hey Gay Boy.]
Am I willing to put up with him making fun of me for being gay? Or.... maybe he's just acting like it's weird and he's gonna tell me he's bi.... can he please tell me he's bi?
