      LUKA

My body twitches as my eyes opens in surprise. I gasped out, feeling out of breath even though I wasn't even doing anything. The only thing I could feel for now was pain. It felt like I've broken all the bones in my body. My eyes drifts to see a person sitting beside the bed.

"Jun," My voice came out like a whisper. He had his arms on the bed, his head resting on his arm. Jun is my best friend. We've been friends since middle school so we knew each other like the back of our hands.

Geez, how long has he been staying here.

The dark circles under his eyes were obvious, and the usual glow he had even when he was sleeping was gone. I tried moving my arm slowly, hissing once I did so. I moved my arm to pat Jun's head, ruffling his soft brown locks.

He starts to shift, his eyes slowly fluttering open. He looks at me, probably still half asleep, before holding my hand on his head. "Hand?" He tilts his head. I snorted before laughing. But that wasn't the best decision as immediately after I started laughing, the pain only got worse. I groaned before gritting my teeth.

Jun finally gets a grip of the situation before springing up to his feet. "Luka??" His eyes were now widely open. "Had a good rest?" I asked Jun jokingly. Splutters of incoherent words came out from his mouth.

"OH MY GOD,"

"Yea, good morning buddy,"

"Your condition seems to be fine for now. But you'll still continue to stay here though. We're all very happy to see you awake," The doctor says while flipping through some papers he had in his hands. "We'll come check up on you in the afternoon again. Rest well, Luka." The doctors gives a smile to me before nodding at Jun.

Jun approaches me before taking a seat at the edge of the bed. "Geez, you scared me to death," Jun sighs before scooting closer towards me. "I shouldn't have left you to do all th–" I shushed him before frowning. "Hey, your father wasn't feeling well that day. It's not your fault," Jun sighs before taking a hold of my hand.

"I swear after this I won't let you cross the street without holding my hand," Another laugh erupts from my mouth resulting to me groaning in pain once again. "You sound like a dad," He glares at me. "Hey this isn't funny, okay," I only offered him a smile as a response.

"What happened anyways?" I tensed up, feeling a chill running up my spine after hearing his question. Memories of the dream I had flashes through my mind. The strange person named Zagan, and the other person. And their strange conversation.

It was just a dream right?

"Hey, you okay?" I snapped out of my thoughts before grinning at Jun. "Don't worry so much, would you?"

I'll forget about it anyways.

Four months had supposedly passed and I'm healthy as ever. And as much as I hate it, I had to go back to school. I yawned before stretching my arms out. "What tired even though we're just on our way to school?" Jun asks mockingly. I shot him a glare before slinging my arm around his shoulder.

A smile unknowingly stretches onto my lips, seeing the same scenery after months. We were nearing school so there were a lot people who went to the same school as us around us. I hummed a random melody playing in my head before glancing around once again.

A gust of wind passes by as my eyes widens after seeing a familiar figure–Zagan. That was the first word that came across my mind. I clenched my fist before shaking my head.

Am I seeing things? Am I still not fully healed?

I decided to just forget about it once again. It might've been just been my head playing tricks on me.

C

lass started as usual. A lot of people came to my class to greet me. "Since when were you popular?" Jun raises a brow at me. "I've always been popular. It's just you who's never noticed my power." I said earning a shove from Jun.

The classroom door slides open as the teacher walks in. Everyone quiets down before rushing back to their seats. "I see that Luka's finally back to school. Welcome back Luka, we're all glad that you're better now." Our homeroom teacher greets me as I thanked him.

"Anyways, we have a new student."

"Seriously?"

"Why transfer when it's almost the end of the year?"

"Hope it's a guy."

Whispers started to fill in the class after hearing the teacher's words. The teacher smacks her hand on the table, silencing them back. "He won't be in this class," The girls groans before going back to their business. They guys weren't bothered by the situation–some even sleeping.

A girl raises her hand as the teacher raises an eyebrow, asking her to continue. "Which class will he be in?" The teacher sighs in response. "He's a year older so I don't know where his class is," Another girl raises her hand up.

"What's his name?" The girl asks.

"If I'm not mistaken, I think it was Zagan Aamon."

Shit.
