The Adventures of Cal and Sal

Chapter 1: The Preparations

Once apon a time in a far away galaxy lived a group of aliens, called youn'walls, they all lived in peace and solitude until one day... When Jim Bob's army came to destroy my planet. Oh! I should mention my name is Cal, I'm getting ready to go on a mission with my brother Sal. This mission is a mission to save our dog named Steve and collect a strange creature named Jerald the Alligator, whatever that is. We will be using our spaceship named Bill. Oh, and Samantha will also be tagging along (though no one likes that spaceship). Well... It's more like they don't like the pilot that pilots Samantha, Skye, they are our backup ship and pilot but I really would have preferred Jeremy..... He's kinda cute, but that's not important! Before we get to in-depth into the story the story you should probably know that the spaceships take on the personality of the person piloting the ship.

We are headed to a planet called "Earth"... I've heard that the people there are very...Unique.

From the images that we have been shown of this Jerold the Alligator creature, it looks absolutely terrifying and I am honestly not looking forward to meeting him in person. Even though This creature is pretty scary I know that I can count on my big brother, Sal, to protect me, Like he always does when I find something scary... which is anything that I don't have very little to no information on.

Jeremy would probably protect me as well...I wouldn't complain about that --I MEAN!

Just as I was thinking this Jeremy walked into the room and saw me blushing.

"Hey, is everything okay?" he asked concerned.

"Y-Yeah. what's up? is everything going well for the preparations for the mission?"

"Yes, but I wish it was me out on the mission with you."

"...Same, I mean you are a better pilot than Sal after all."

"Nah I could never be as good as him..." He answers scratching the back of his neck blushing lightly.

"No, really. He barely passed the piloting examination... It was scary because I was in the simulator with him"

"I wish I could be your guys' co-pilot. Did you get your pilot license?"

"No, not yet. I'm planning on getting it after we get back from the mission though."

"Maybe I can negotiate with the commander to see if I can be on your team?" He suggested.

"That would be amazing!!! Er- I mean yeah. If you want to come along you could do that." I say embarrassed about my outburst

Jeremy walk off to find the commander and mutters to himself "cute..."

As soon as he walks out I face palm myself and start muttering about how stupid I am.

After a good thirty minutes, Jeremy runs back to me holding my shoulders and looking very exited.

"I got it!!!" He basically yelled.

"You mean, you finally got yourself a telocollider?" I ask even though I know what he's talking about,

"N-No, I mean yes, but I was meaning on the mission, I get to spend more time with you! -I mean! sorry..."

I blush slightly at the last comment but try to hid it.

"That's cool."

"D-Do you not want to...I mean I'll understand, I do get annoying." He asks a little panicked.

"NO!!" I say a little panicked that he will give up the copilot position. He brings me into a hug,

"Don't worry, I was only kidding. Your not losing me that easily." He snickers.

"I just really didn't want to be alone with my brother for any extended amount of time." I paused and realized we were still hugging. "You can let go now."

"I don't wanna... This is nice" He hugs me a little tighter, but not in a bad way.

"Please? I need to go crap." I say trying to get out of his hold.

"Oh- I'm sorry!" He quickly lets go secretly missing the feeling of his touch.

I run to the bathroom and did my business then go to get ready for the mission. I get to my room to see a note:

"Dear Cal,

I already packed your bag for the mission, head to the ship

-Sal"

I smile and head to the ship. I get up to the ship and find Sal and I ask "What does this strange creature have to do with the army that us coming to attack us?"

" Well you see baby brother, Jim Bob's army is also scared of this creature so we will be scaring them away." As he says this he pushes up his glasses.

"But what if it doesn't work? What will we do then?" I ask starting to get worried.

"We have more than one plan, we aren't that stupid-" He gets rudely interrupted as Jeremy enters the ship.

"Are you sure about that?"

"We will talk more about this on the way home. For now lets just get out of here before Skye shows up." I say, really not wanting to see Skye

"Yeah, I don't want to see more of my sister..." Jeremy said

"Wait, she's your sister? I didn't know that. You two don't look anything alike." I say surprised.

"Yeah I try not to, She's older than me by two years and she's my half-sister, we have the same dad. I look like our dad and she looks and acts like her mom."

" Oh, that explains it. Now lets get going." I said

"Hey! that's my line." Sal cut me off, while Jeremy laughs at the two of us arguing back and forth. While we were busy arguing Skye entered the ship.

" Oh, heyyy little bother. I didn't know you'd be here" She says snooty-like.

"We won't be for long!" I say and push the other two to their stations.

" Oh-Sorry! Bye." They all get on the ship with a sigh of relief.

"I'm just glad she didn't follow us into Bill." I say

"She's got her own stupid, God-awful ship." Jeremy gagged. We all got into our positions and got the okay to take off and so we did.
