Chapter 2: The Expedition

We are in the middle of nowhere, in the "Milky way" Galaxy

"Are you sure you know where we are going?" I asked once again.

"Yes, baby brother, now quit asking." My brother, Sal, answers annoyed.

"Your positive? Cause It feels like we've just been going in circles for the past five hours." I complain.

"Yes, now go bother Jeremy or something, and leave me alone." He says shooing me away.

"At least he is hot and nice to me." I mumble under my breath.

"Yeah, Yeah, whatever now leave!" He demanded annoyed. I then walk over to Jeremy and ask

"Hey! How are you? Do you need anything?"

"No, I don't, I'm doing good. I could use your company though... I was a little lonely here without you."

I blush slightly " Well, Sal told me to beat it, so I'll stay here for a while."

"I officially like Sal a little bit more now..." Jeremy mumbled to himself, blushing slightly.

"Yeah yeah, whatever." I say and sit down next to Jeremy.

" So are you excited about Earth?" Jeremy asks, turning to me.

"Yeah, but I am a little scared about what the creatures are going to be like."

"It'll be okay, I'll protect you."

"Thank you."

"Anytime. I mean that's what crew mates are for, right?"

"Yeah." I said a little sad.

"Did I say something wrong? I mean..." he mumbled something after that but I was unable to hear what he said.

"No, not at all. So! Wanna go get a prank set in place for Skye?"

"How far is this prank going to go, cause i don't wanna get home to a more angry Skye...?"

"It'll just be for a few laughs. I don't think she will get mad."

" you don't know her then... She gets mad over the littlest things. I told her that I had a girlfriend before, even though she knows that's impossible, she believed me then kept telling me to use protection and how she can't be an aunt yet."

"Oh... Why would having a girlfriend be impossible? I mean I would want to date you if I were a girl."

"I would date you too, but not 'cause you're a girl. I'm gay, I don't like girls."

"O-oh, okay."

Jeremy realizes what he said and panics.

"I mean-Sorry!" He's blushing really, really red.

" It's okay. I just didn't realize that you were gay." I say slightly panicked.

Jeremy is now blushing into his hands and mumbles something that sounded like "I can't believe I just confessed like that..."

"What was that?" I ask wondering what he actually said so I wasn't just guessing.

"I-I kinda just confessed how I feel about you... I'm sorry I didn't think before I spoke..." He was blushing more by the second and I can't help but think he's adorable. I chuckle nervously while blushing slightly.

"It's okay... I-I k-kinda feel the same way a-about y-you." I stutter nervously.

"Wait, REALLY- I mean! That's cool."

"Yeah..."

"Do you m-maybe wanna get together and go somewhere, as a date, when we land on Earth?" Jeremy asks nervously.

"That sounds like a lot of fun!" I say getting excited.

"C-cool."

Sal walks in and sees us both blushing like there's no tomorrow. "I'm not even gonna ask, but Earth is in view, we'll be there in about 1 1/2 hours. Be ready... CAL!!" He says while walking out.

"Hey! Why did you say my name?!" I yell.

"Because you take the longest!" He yells in response - since he is in the control room.

"Well!... BLAH!!" I yell not knowing what to say. Jeremy looks at me with a look of confusion and a hint of concern.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Is this how you two always are?" He asks a bit worried.

"Yep."

"This is going to be a long expedition."
