And today she was handed her diploma. Her cap and gown long forgotten in the closet, she stepped out in the world, gently sliding a finger under the edge of the envelope. Inside was a letter, her diploma, and a small card. The card read, "Congratulations, Class of 2020". The diploma had her name, college, her degree. And the letter said, "Today, we pass the world unto you, the new generation.
She looks out at the world, seeing injustice, pain, suffering, and people oppressed, held by the neck under those with more power. There's people dying in the streets while those with power are scheming in their white-washed house.
