Thanksgiving?!

I know I'm a day late with the title and all but,, it's all good nna hood right? yeaah^_^

((Trey's POV))

   Yesterday was interesting. I finally get to see my girl without sneaking around. Thanksgiving is in one day. Everybody is going to Laila and Jacob's house. We're having a big party type thing, everybody and their grandma is going to be there. This is going to be my first time meeting Laila's family other than, her mom and dad. Same thing for her, my grandma is coming with my Mom, Iman and I. I'm nervous but then again, I'm not.

"Trey, I'm taking Iman to the mall to get an outfit for Thanksgiving. You coming with us?" My mom asked.

"Yeah I'm coming, let me put on my shoes and a jacket."

 After I did that, I went downstairs and out of the door. When we got to the mall I went to Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie, Jorney's and Hot Topic. My mom and sister went to Justice, Forever 21, and Claire's. When I was walking to meet my mom and my sister I saw Laila, she was leaving out of Forever 21.

I called her as I walked closer to her, "Hey bae."

"Hey Lai, where you at?"

"In the mall, where you at?"

"Right behind you!" I picked her up by her waist and spun her around.

We were laughing for about five minutes, then we caught our breath.

"When did you get here, STALKER?"

I laughed, "Like an hour ago, I'm here with my special ladies...."

She looked at me with scrunched eyes brows, "My mom and sister, duh!"

"Oh, aight. Just checking you. Where are they?" She asked excitedly

"I think they are in Justice.Ugh..." I hate that store.

"That store look like a unicorn and a fairy got drunk together and threw up, it so colorful and glittery. It's too girl."

She said jokingly. I grabbed her hand we walked to Justice, as soon as we walked in Iman ran to Laila and hugged her. "Lailaaaa!"

"Imannnn!" They screamed like maniacs, my mom and I laughed.

My sister started asking Laila a million questions, "When did you get here?"

"Like an hour ago."

"What did you buy?"

"An outfit for Thanksgiving and some other clothes, shoes, and perfume and a special gift for someone!"

 "Who is the 'special gift' for? You can tell me, I keep secrets! Is it for Trey?" Laila giggled and whispered something in her ear, Iman started kool-aid smiling and hugging Laila. 

   I sat outside of the store while my mom, Laila and Iman shopped. Everything was perfect. When they came out Laila left because she had to go help her mom cook and get ready for tomorrow. We stayed in the mall for another hour or so. As soon as I got home I put all of my stuff in my room and watched TV. Eventually, I drifted off to sleep.

((Laila's POV))

   When I got home from the mall I quickly put my stuff in my room, and changed into sweats and a tank top. My mom was downstairs cooking and Jacob and my dad were organizing at setting stuff outside and inside. Sometimes I hate when holidays come, it's when everyone stresses out. I went in the kitchen and started helping my mom cook and bake.
