The next morning, we continued our journey but we have to jump to every obstacle in our way and took quick breaks.

Things are getting out of hand because... Merlin and Damian kept arguing about things and which is right or wrong!

I need to calm down, this is what happens if you bring your boyfriend and a camper or something into your own quest.

Merlin helped me off the branch and Damian jumped down behind me, we walked further and saw a huge opening which seems to be near the shore of the sea.

I use my frost powers to make a slide and we jumped on it before we landed on the ground, I stood up brushing my skirt and helped the boys up before we walked again.

"This area seems to quite." Merlin said.

"Well, of course. This area has been empty for the past eight years." Damian grumble causing Merlin to glare at him.

"Eight years? This place was crowded just a few months ago." I corrected him with a smirk causing Merlin to laugh at Damian and him to blush in embarrassment.

Silent has taken over us and footsteps were the only ones that are heard, ours.

I moved a few bushes away from our path, Damian walked through but he un-hold the branch causing it to hit Merlin "Whoops, sorry." Damian chuckled mischievously before walking away.

Merlin growled and move the branch away before he walked beside me "He really is a troublesome." Merlin whisper into my ears.

"Excuse me? Was that an insult?" Damian argue.

"Nope." Merlin smirked causing me to giggle.

"Mhm." Damian sass before he scouted further.

Me and Merlin share a look before we laugh together, a few seconds pass and we calmed down before a crashed boat was in view.

So many of them!

"What happened here?" I ask tracing my hand againts the dust old boat.

"One the sailors came into the dark sea and their boat crashed but, Aren't they supposed to be in the bottom of the sea just like how my parents told me?" Damian replied.

I walked in and Merlin followed behind me, I looked around and notice the symbols were the same as my family's.

I kneel over a chest and brush the dust away...noticing that it was my family's, I quickly open it and pull out the maps and a book from it.

Merlin kneel down beside me "My grandfather said that he and grandmother are heading towards the Ice temple but they didn't tell me why."

Merlin opened the book as Damian kneels down on my right, we look through the map and notice the line was heading towards the Ice temple.

"Your grandmother was traveling for a reason, (Name)." Merlin caught my attention, I look at the book and notice the writings were indeed my grandmother's.

I have traveled so far yet we haven't found the ice temple, losing hope was not in me but this was the first. We decided to head back but when I saw a glance of ice in the corner of my eyes, I knew that this was a sign why we turned. I travelled far for my granddaughter (Name) for she has my ice powers, My husband worries for my granddaughter for she has the most strongest power. (Name) was my second granddaughter because my son's first born died for she was too weak to hold the power.

Storm began to form but I cannot fall down...

The next page was empty, and I was broken inside.

First. I lost my grandmother all because of my powers and second. My big sister died when she was a baby.

My emotions began to form a memory from the water inside the boat, we turned around to see a statue of my grandparents holding each other in their arms and a huge wave was just behind them.

"(Grandmother name)!!"

"(Grandfather name)!!"

"I love you, (Grandmother name)!"

"I love you too, I'm sorry (Name)."

I ran out of the boat can't stand the voices in my head anymore, I broke down.

Tears started falling down my cheeks and I fell on my knees "(Name), wait!"

I hear his footsteps behind me and he pulled me into a hug "It was my fault, my fault that they died and I was all because of my stupid powers!" I cried in his chest.

Merlin gran my chin and kisses my forehead as i look up at him "It's not your fault, (Name). It never was and you know it, they know it because they did this for you and they loved you."

"I have to continue this on my own." Merlin pulled back from our hug and look at me in shock.

"What are you saying?" He breath out.

"It's too dangerous for the both of you, you could get hurt and if that happens then it is my fault too." I replied.

"(Name), non of this is your fault and I would blame myself if I get hurt!"

"You should leave." I said firmly holding back tears.

"(Name) what are you-"

"(Name), you can't go there on your own. They could destroy you." Damian defend.

I shook my head and bit my lip before I pushed them away into the small boat I made for them and frost them away.

"(Name)! You can't do this!"

I turned away bursting into tears.

"Princess!!"

I didn't look back at him but I walked away towards the snore.

"(NAMEEEEE)!!!" his voice began to fade and I fell on my knees again bursting into tears.

I sobbed uncontrollably before I wipe my tears and calm myself down "I'm sorry, Merlin."

I stood up and slowly walk towards the water "But, I can't stand losing you too."

Merlin's pov
We stopped by the forest and we got off of the boat as tears began to form in my eyes "I can't believe it."

"Me neither, Merlin." Damian said patting my back.

"No, if she goes there on her own then she- she..." I sat down on a rock and run my hands through my hair as my hot tears fall on her coat.

"She did this for you." Damian said and I look up at him noticed that he was watching me crying.

"I know, but I can't lose her...i loved her with my heart and she knows it." I sobbed quietly.

"Don't worry, She'll come back." Damian said placing a hand on my shoulder.

I nod and slowly we walk towards a different path but I run towards the path we went through "Merlin!"

Damian grab my arms and hold me down "Let me go! I need to get to my (Name)!"

"Merlin, Listen to me!" I struggle against his grip.

"She loved you and she wanted you safely back home and if you come back to her, she may have already heading straight to the ice temple." Damian said as my struggle calmed down.

"Please, I just need to get to her! I need her!" I argue.

"And she needs you safely back, she will come back for you and I know it!" He argue back.

"No, I must get to her!" I argue again.

Damian sigh and tie me up with a rope "Let go of me!!"

"No Merlin, we have to go back for her!"

"Let go!!"

He started to drag me away as I struggle once more "No, No, (Name)!!!"
