The sun gleamed through my shear white curtains onto my orange and purple bohemian bedspread. I rubbed my tan legs on my white sheets, trying to see if i could wake myself up. I batted my long eyelashes and giggled as i looked around my room, attempting to sit up. "I can't believe i dreamed about Peter last night," i said looking up at my ceiling. I dragged myself to an upright position with my elbows on my knees, as i rubbed my face. Finally, i woke up enough to completely open up my eyes. "Dream? dream," i mumbled in sleepy confusion. "Dream... wait. it wasn't a dream" i realized as i looked at my wet clothes on the ground from the rain last night. A blushing, big smile went from cheek to cheek. "It wasn't a dream," i giggled happily, "It was real." I sighed with relief.

RING RING RING

Suddenly i woke up so fast, i flew into the air as i panicked to find my phone.

"Hello. Hello?" i said as i brushed my hair back.

"Mariska? Do you know what time it is?" i recognized Peter's voice.

"Um, no. I just woke up." I said confused. Did i make plans with him last night? I looked at my clock- 8:32 AM i read. "Its 8:30," i explained to him. 8:30... 8:30... its... "OH MY GOD" i screamed into the phone.

I was in the air so fast, i could've left a cartoon cloud figure above my bed.

"We've done the scenes you're not in, but its kind of hard since you're the star." I could hear the concern in his voice. I was so glad HE was the one who called me because he wouldn't get mad at me. At the same time, i didn't want him to think i'm this diva.

Half naked, I was trying to slip my pants on, while I had my phone between my shoulder and ear talking to Peter. "I'm so sorry. I must've forgot to set my alarm after you walked me home last night. I'm so sorry. Will you please tell them i'm on my way and that i apologize." Seeing how the show had only been going on for a couple years, i didn't want to make this type of reputation for myself.

"No problem Rish, I'll tell them. Just try to hurry." Did he just call me Rish? i think my heart just sank into my stomach. I loved that so much.

I stopped rushing. I stopped panicking for one second. I grabbed my phone off my shoulder. "Thank you," A huge smile came upon my face as i bit my nail, "Goodbye Peter."

▫▫▫

"I'M HERE! I'M HERE!" I yelled into the squad room set with a coffee spilling in my hand.

"Mariska, where have you been?" My producer pulled me aside.

"I'm sorry. I had a long night and i forgot to set my alarm. I'm so sorry, it won't happen again, i promise." I explained to him, hoping he wasn't too mad. "I'm just thankful Peter called me and woke me up!" I laughed, trying to lighten the mood.

"Peter? Peter Hermann called you?" he asked suspiciously, "The new guy?"

"Um... yeah. He's a cool guy." I said scratching my ear, looking at the ground.

"HEY EVERYONE! I APOLOGIZE THAT I'M LATE BUT I'M HERE NOW! LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" I yelled out to the cast and crew. Laughing off my tardiness as i walked away from my producer, trying to avoid the Peter question.

"Scene 15, Take 2. Mariska lets have you sitting at your desk, holding the case file. Look kind of flustered. And Peter, come entering through that door," He pointed towards the entrance. "Look around the room a little bit before noticing Olivia. Aaaaaaand ACTION!" We were directed through a bullhorn.

▫▫▫

After shooting for a few hours, we were finally given a break. "Wanna order chinese food?" I asked Peter.

"Are we aloud to order that, here?"

I giggled at his concern. "Of course we are, Silly! Now, what do you like?"

I was so overly happy the food had arrived, my stomach had been growling all morning. "Where should we eat?" Peter asked, holding the food.

"We could go eat in my dressing room...?"

I spread out a blanket on the floor and threw some pillows on top. Lo Mein was my favorite... and so were ChopSticks!

"Wow, your dressing room is so fancy." He said looking around. "I like your sense of style, very indie, old timey girly, bohemian."

"Thank you," I stared at him in questionable surprise. "You're not gay, are you?" I said jokingly as he burst out laughing.

Still laughing he explained, "No, just very feminine!" He joked back.

I stared in his eyes for a second with a big smile on my face as he stared back. I loved the way he laughed. "I like that." I said in a soft voice with a smirk, shoveling Lo Mein into my mouth.

"So, um, would you like to do something with me tomorrow?"

"Yeah. What did you have in mind? Like a date?" I said smiling, knowing how much pressure i was putting on him, even though we had pretty much already gone on one.

"Um, yeah! i mean, if you would... would you... do you want to go on a date with me?" His stuttering was so adorable.

"hmmm... let me think about it." I said my joke so seriously, looking around. His face grew with concern, "Of course i will! Who wouldn't go on a date with THE Peter Hermann!" I chuckled.

"I don't know about that! If anything, i'm get to go on a date with THE Mariska Hargitay! You're like the Madonna of television."

A gut-busting laugh came out of me as he stared at me in the cutest way. "Well I'll take that anyday! Step aside Madonna," I talked with my hands, "there's kid in town!"

"You're laugh is so infectious," Peter said with his deep voice and dreamy eyes. "I can't get over how beautiful you are and its all so natural. It amazes me."

I tightened my lips with a smirk as my eyes welled up a bit. "I-" trying to speak with my voice gone high pitched, i sighed and stopped. I put my hand on top of his, looking into his eyes with the biggest smile as he grasped my fingers in his hand and i could fell his love through the warmth.
