Coraline got ready for her next performance up on the main stage at the cafe where she worked as a stage performer to keep the bored people entertained, and to make the place seem a little more fancy. Today she was gonna sing "I wouldn't mind" by he is we, and she was super excited as it was one of her favorite songs of all time, I mean sure, you couldn't tell if it was for the sad emos or the 2000s romantics but it got the point out.

Coral started to set up on the main stage, which was a small wooden stage with fairy lights hung around it, with a cute looking stool in the middle. The cafe had just went into lunch hour and it was quite the rush, people going in and out restlessly, trying to find something to eat or drink, some of them stayed and were sat at one of the booths or cute tables sprinkled throughout the shop. One of those people was Lawrence who just so happened to be sitting in the small table at the corner of the stage when Caroline was setting up, of course to Lawrence this was no surprise since he basically only came here to see and listen to her sing.

The first time he ever came here, Coral was on singing duty, and he just so happed to stay there long enough to listen to her sing only once. The man almost immediately fell for her, she was gorgeous and sang like an angel, how could he have not? So instead of asking for her name and number like a normal person he watched her over time and learned her schedule and even little bits of personal information, that I'll have you guess for yourself what it is to keep you're mind busy for the time being.

Though he was on his own schedule as well so he normally couldn't stay for long, but Lawrence watched carefully only glancing in her direction once or twice every couple of minutes to keep a low profile and to not scare the crap out of her. Coral sat on the stool getting ready to play, strumming her guitar "Merrily we fall out of line, out of line," she started to sing softly "I'd fall anywhere with you, I'm by your side." Lawrence looked at her his face written in awe as he heard her wonderful voice once more as it filled the room perfectly, it was just at the write volume where people could keep talking or enjoy their coffees, he felt a shiver run up his spine out of pure anticipation as he imagined she was singing for him. And only him. In the end, he knew he'd make Coraline his, and ONLY his.

"Swinging in the rain, humming melodies
We're not going anywhere until we freeze"

Lawrence's heart started to beat faster as a wide eyes smile creepily sat upon his face, he stared into her beautiful blue orbs as she looked out on the crowd, dismissing him as he only took a spot at the corner of her eye, jealousy started to move through his veins as he realized that he was not the only one she was singing for...

"I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid,"

Lawrence thought for a moment "but-...How do I make her mine?..." he asked himself giving him his own challenge to overcome as he clenched his fists from the frustration he was feeling, not being able to have her alone and singing for him like this would be disappointing and maybe even for him a little heartbreaking, though hes never been one to be emotional.

"Forever is a long time
But I wouldn't mind spending it by your side,"

Lawrence heard and took the lyrics she sang personally, as if she was singing them for and too him and only too him, he was trapped in a fantasy where she loved him and sang for him every day, and he refused to accept that it wasn't real, she is just something you have to earn, and he was gonna do it, even if it took him an eternity...

"I'm torn, I'm torn to be right where you are, I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid,"
