𝙖/𝙣 : this is a combination of two requests from soymilklatte (ao3) who requested what would happens to BTS if MC leaves for work for a few days and ScarletHeart101 (wattpad) who requested how BTS would react when they find out what MC does for a living. These two made the perfect combination so I hope you don't mind that I wrote them both in one chapter.
I'm sorry it took so long to update this series, I got really focused on PWTUH and planning my two upcoming series' as well so it took a while for me to find the time. A lot of exciting things were happening recently, well, to you, at least. Being the co-owner of the revolutionary hybrid adoption center 'Sunny Days', you were very much involved in its long-awaited expansion.
This meant many phone calls, meetings, and additional paperwork. Obviously you had your best friend as the owner of the adoption center to call most of the shots, but she was always adamant at having your input in everything, if possible. In her own words it 'didn't feel right' to conclude anything without your consent or, at the very least, having your stance on the situation.
Originally, you were voted as the owner but you already had so many other things on your plate and the only other person you trusted, who also had the right credentials, to take your place was your best friend. Hence why she is the owner and you took on the more relaxed co-owner position.
It was sweet of her to always consider your viewpoint but that didn't take away the needy whines or the pleading eyes of your peculiar pack. They were quick to pick up on your sudden unavailability around the house but that didn't mean that they were okay with it.
"I'm so sorry for troubling you, (Y/N)," your best friend voiced apologetically through the phone pressed against your ear; her voice against your ear, somehow, making her sound all the more regretful, "I know you're working on a new book atop other things right now but I just can't confirm anything without your input in good conscience. We built this center together, after all,"
You laughed and almost sighed at the small release of tension in your shoulders, "Don't worry, Dollie, it's no trouble at all," at your reassurance, you can practically feel your best friend's radiant smile through your phone.
