Chapter 1

Emily

I walk out of the school behind all the girls but turn down a different way.I walk the beach way to the orphanage while the girls walk the city way.The beach and the sound of the crashing waves gives me a sense of peace and serenity.

Keeping my attention on the sea i accidentally walk into a couple wearing hats and sunglasses.I get knocked to the ground by the force of the hit.It wasn't that hard its just that in the orphanage they don't feed us enough so we're all frail and weak.

"I'm so sorry"i say scrambling to my feet.

"Don't worry about it"the woman said.

I started to walk away when the called out to me.

"Where are you headed to"The woman called out.

"The orphanage m'am"i said politely.

"Do you live there"they asked.

i nodded.

They smiled at each other and then looked back at me.

"Do you want a lift"They asked.

i looked at them.

"I was told never trust strangers" i said.

The man took off his glasses and i immediately recognized him.

"Now am i stranger"he said smirking.

I shook my head smiling.

"Come on lets go lets go to the car then"he said leading me to his car.

We arrived at the orphanage and the couple followed me into the building saying they wanted to talk to manager.i went straight ti my room and went straight for my guitar and camera getting ready to video a new cover.

"Hey guys,thanks for the lovely comments on my last video,today I'm doing I'm a Mess by Ed Sheeran so here it goes"I strummed my guitar and started to sing.

When I finished singing I looked at the camera and smiled.

"Thanks guys,I love you"I waved to the webcam and turned it off.

I edited the video and uploaded it.

I was just about to start my homework when Eileen came it.

"Pack up you've been adopted"she said walking out .

I sighed while packed up my stuff .

I've been adopted loads of times but I always ended up back here.

I walked downstairs .

"So who's adopting me"I asked Megan the manager.

She pointed to the couple from earlier.

My eyes widened .
I've just been adopted by Elounor.......
