Chapter 10 - Holy Hell

Emilys POV

My eyes shot open. Not because of a bad dream. I was having an amazing dream. For the first time in months. But, my dream was interupted. On purpose. I sighed pulling on my one of Jacobs sweat shirts and I slid on my shows. I pulled my hair back in a bun and walked outside. I felt bad about leaving Jacob. Even if it's only for a second.

" Did you sleep with him?" Luca asked.

" No! Of course not." I exclaimed. " Why are you wearing his clothes?" he questioned.

" I stayed over, ya know. Because of what happened yesterday." I said in a duh tone.

" Did you get the crystal?" I asked. He nodded. He held it out for me and I slowly grabbed it from his hand. It was cold, ice cold. Tears brimmed my eyes.

" Luca"

" It's ok Emily." he smiled.

" Your a-

" Vampire" he said.

" Well you have to leave. You have to stay safe." I exclaimed. I sighed when I saw Jacob walking over. He wrapped his arm around me.

" Hey Luca" he said calmly. But I knew, Jacob knew. Luca was a vampire. I felt Jacobs arm around me getting warmer.

 I looked up at him.

" You have got to be kidding me!" Luca said throwing his arms in the air.

" I'm gone for five seonds and you already have a sick werewolf attachment to her." He said pushing Jacob.

" Luca, stop!" I demanded. " You know it's not like that." I snapped.

" What about me Emily?" he asked.

" What about you, your one of my bestfriends. I thought you would be happy for me?" I said walking closer to Jacob.

" You know that I love you, why the hell would I save you if I didn't love you. Jacob sure as hell didn't help you last night. He's the one that gave you the venom Emily. Open your eyes." he yelled.

I jumped as Jacob shifted into a HUGE wolf  at my side. He growled and snarled at Luca. He slowly walked closer to him. But this wasn't Jacob. This was my protecter. He was in a different mind state.

I quickly ran infront of him and he stoped. He started to whine. I turned towards Luca.

" Please, Luca. I'm sorry this happened to you. But you can't stay mad at me. I'm supposed to he with Jacob. I want to be with Jacob. Your going to have to accept that." I sighed. He nodded and kissed  my forhead. " Thank you"

I turned back to Jacob. Who had his tail between his legs. I stood infront of him and sighed. I ran back up to the house. I quickly changed my clothes and walked out in the hallway to find Jacob, in clothes again.

" I'm sorry" he said. " You were going to kill him." I stated. Fire burning in my core. " I'm sorry, vampire's. They just get under my skin." he said.

" Right infront of me" I whispered. " You were going to kill him right infront of me." I said.

" Look, it wasn't me. You know that. I just wanted to protect you." he said looking at the floor. I didn't want to be mad at him anymore. Ugh. I do. I do want to be mad.

" He wasn't going to hurt me. That's why he waited outside. He didn't even know that you imprinted on me until you came outside." I said.

" I know but I woke up and you weren't there" he said. My heart melted.

" He only wanted to give me something." I said with a sigh. " I know, I guess I got jealous." he shrugged.

I walked over to him and pulled him in a hug. Running my fingers over his abs. I looked up at him and crushed my lips onto his. I melted. He was so warm, and his lips were so soft.

" I love you Jacob" I smiled. I cannot believe I just said that. It took every fiber of my being. But it was the truth. I love him.

" I love you too. Forever. " he said. 

" I love only you, ok? Don't ever be jealous" I smiled. 

Jacobs POV

I leaned against a huge oak. Waiting for Emily. I left a note in her car to meet me here. It's going to be the best date ever. My head snapped up to find Tyler standing infront of me.

" Hey Tyler. Emily isn't here yet. But she'll be here soon, if you want to talk to her." I said with a smile. I liked Tyler. He was a nice kid. He's always looking out for Emily.

" Look, Emily isn't going to know I was here alright?" he said.

" Is there something wrong with Emily?" I asked concerned. He shook his head.

" Look, I love Emily. She's one of my bestfriends. She seems to really love you. So, I'm going give you a few tips." he said with a smirk.

" You need to pay attention to her. Every detail. Emily doesn't like attention, but you find out more about her that way." he said.

" She likes it when you kiss her infront of your pack." he said. I smiled. " How do you know all this?" I asked.

" Emily doesn't trust anyone, except you. So, it's easy to read her when she's with you." he said.

" Anyway, you need to always find ways to make her smile. You've only seen her smile that helps her hide. But once you see the real one, you'll fall for her all over again." he said.

" You have to understand, she doesn't want to hide from you. She wants to tell you everything, I'm sure. But you can't get mad when she does. She's been hiding her whole life. We all have. But some things, she's going to keep from you, to protect you. " he said.

I liked that he was telling me this. Stuff that Emily never would.

" Don't yell at her, but. If she does yell at you, just kiss her to shut her up. That's the best way." he said. Which lead me to thinking about Emily. Her lips were so soft, they tasted really good.

" What else?" he asked himself. " Oh Yeah."

" Never tell her she can't do anything. Never underestimate her. Ever. Oh, and when she's upset, or is in a hurry, she'll burst into a purple mist and dissapear. We all do that, it's just teleporting. So, never worry about that.Take care of her Jacob." he said.

" I will, thank you for telling me this." I smiled. He nodded. He took a few steps back and then he turned into a purple cloud and dissapeared.

They were so cool, I was lucky enough to imprint on Emily. I need to make sure she's happy and protected.

" Hey" Emily said from behind me.

" Hey baby." I smiled
