I ended up back in the barn, opening my eyes and blinking. The men staring at me. I looked down to see me exposed, naked. My breath was evaporting in the cold as I saw them and felt them on me. Then a knife was to my neck. And just as it was about to cut into my skin I julted awake gasping for air. The room was pitch black as I tried to regain my breath but I was breathing to fast and I was to scared.

"Betty?" A sleepy voice said as Jughead sat up rubbing his eyes. His messy black hair with no beenie was so fluffy from his slumber. He put a arm
around me. "Your shaking?" I put a hand to my chest to calm me down. "I had a nightmare." "About the guys?" I looked at him and nodded. "Well let's lay back down and I will wait for you fall asleep and then I will. I'm right here okay? I won't let anything bad happen to you ever not when I'm around." I buried my head into his chest as I calmed down. I slowly drifted to sleep in his arms, as he rubbed my arms up and down soothing me to sleep. I loved him.

The next day when Jughead left to go meet with the serpents, I locked myself up in my room. I sat at my vanity playing with my necklace. I took deep breaths as I looked into the mirror, I looked pale, frail and lifeless. I cringed and I took another deep breath, in and out. Then my mom knocked on my door sending me three feet in the air as I gasped. She walked in as I recovered. "Jeez mom you scared me." I said holding my chest. She had a tray of tea in her hands. "I didn't know if you wanted to eat hard food again since you haven't in days, but I made you some tea." Ever since I got home my moms been babying me and it was fine at first but now it is getting excessive. "Mom I'm not 2 I can eat hard food." I said taking the tea. "But thank you." I took a sip as the warm water slid down my throat.

"Well I just wanted to make sure you can keep it down Elizabeth that's all." She sat on my bed waiting for something. I looked at her weirdly. "What?" I said confused. "Nothing, I have just been thinking. Maybe you should hang out with Kevin today? I will give you some shopping money and-" "I'm really busy actually mom. I have to catch up on school work." I said turning around. There was silence and then my mom got up. She looked at my desk. "There's no school work in sight Elizabeth." I rolled my eyes. "It's not healthy to keep yourself locked up you know?" She put her hands on my shoulders as I flinched. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Easy for you to say." I mumbled. Then my mom left the room.
