I walked into the building and the smell of fresh herbs filled my nose. I walked up to the front desk and sighned in as a visitor and put on the sticker letting me pass security. I walked in and they lead me to a small room with a book shelf and a table. I sat down and put my note pad and pen on the wooden table waiting for Anna.
"Hello." Said the girl. She was a skinny little girl with short red hair that was in a low ponytail. She was very pail and frail and she looked a little shaken up from the sisters still. I knew she would be a tuff egg to crack. "Hello I'm Betty Cooper nice to meet you!" I said holding out my hand for her to shake it giving her a big smile. She shook it catouisly. "Why are you here?" She said sitting down fixing her dress.
"I have a few questions to ask you, I read that article online about the Sisters of Quiet Mercy and I'm doing a topic on you, is it okay?" I asked taking out a piece of paper from my bag. "Yeah." She said folding her hands on her lap. "Since your telling me about your story I'll tell you mine, my sister Polly was taken away a few years ago, to what my parents told me was a boarding school in Switzerland. I belived her Ofcourse because why would a mother lie to her own child. Well I was wrong. It turns out I found this." I slid her the price of paper which she gently picked up and examined. She looked up in fright. "The sisters, there back?" She shook a little. I nodded and swallowed nervously. "Polly escaped one day and stood in the middle of the road and killed herself, she wanted to be hit and she got hit by a truck that couldn't see her on the street." I teared up as she looked at me. She put her hand on mine. "I guess she wasent strong enough." I said letting tears escape my eyes. "I'm so sorry. Trust me your sister is strong believe me. The sisters unlike there name show no mercy on those kids." She said. "I'll awnser any question you want. I want them to be shut down to." I nodded and wiped a tear as I picked up my pen. I asked her all the key blanks and wrote it down as she talked to me about her experience as I filled in key blanks and plotholes. One we were done I hugged her and wished her well and hoped a family would come and adopt her. She was so sweet and kind and understanding and I hugged her again before I left thanking her for all she did for me then sneaking in one more hug.I walked out of the place and down the street. I realized that the bus station I took here was now closed and I was alone. I couldn't call my mom so I did the next best thing. "Hey V wanna have a sleepover tonight?" I said on the phone to Veronica. "OMG YES BETTY!!" She screamed across the phone excitedly
