We arrive at one of the main gas stations in town to grab some snacks. I'm still in shock that Heather Duke does not hate being around me. Like, the fuck? "Do you come here often?" I break away from my confused thoughts and am taken aback by what Heather just said. "What?" I said nervously. "Do you come to this gas station a lot?" I smile. Don't tell me my gay ass really thought- "Oh- um, yeah. I come here a lot, but I don't hang out here or anything. I just grab my cravings and go." She nods. She looks kind of confused as she looks around. I look at her with slight concern. "Have you never been to this gas station?" She looks at me, smiles, and laughs lightly. "I have not. What should I get?" I smile. "You have to try a slushee, here-" I say as I grab her hand to lead her to the other side of the store, but I quickly realize what I just did and flinch away from her and let go of her hand. "Uh-," I gesture my arm in the direction of where the slushees are. Heather looks at me weird. I look down at the floor and start walking ahead, assuming she's following me. I focus on the loud sound of the slushee machine to distract myself. I grab a cup and hand it to Heather. "Here." As I hand it to her, her hand touches mine. Oh my fucking god. Why?! Why me? I sigh, frustrated at myself. I turn my attention back to the slushee machine and grab my own cup and start to fill it. I stop filling it up when it's three fourths of the way full. She scoffs. "Why did you do that?" "Do what?" I ask. She just looks at me frustrated and sighs as she grabs my cup. "Wait- What?" "You need to fill it up more- get your money's worth." I laugh. "Um, okay?" I wait for her to fill up my cup and assume she would stop before reaching the lip of the cup. She did not stop. "Hey- that's too much-" "You don't know what's too much, barely putting anything in it-," "I filled it up most of the way!" She laughs and turns her head to look at me. She smiles at me like she's genuinely happy. "You get upset that easily?" I frown at her. "I'm stating facts, and you're ignoring them." "Stating facts over a fucking smoothie?" I laugh way too loudly. "It's a s l u s h e e." Heather laughs too, both of us laughing together, keeping eye contact with each other. I become sucked into her gaze. "Ow! Shit!" She says as she turns away from me and looks at the slushee machine. I look too and realize why she was in pain. I laugh loudly again and then try to laugh quietly, only resulting in me snorting. "There's slushee everywhere-," I say, laughing uncontrollably. "Yeah, and my hands fucking hurt!" Heather screams. I keep laughing. Heather's expression becomes angry, and she takes both of her hands and grabs my face with the freezing cold slushee still all over them. "Fuck!" I say and try to get her hands off my face. My breathing is fast now because of how cold it is. I whimper and continue trying to pry her hands off my face but she won't. "Who's laughing now?" She says. I stop trying to pull her hands off my face and look at her. We both stay silent for a moment then start laughing again. We stand there, just laughing in our slushee embrace. As we're still laughing the manager of the store walks over to where we are and tells us to get out. I don't blame him for kicking us out.

I finally did it. I updated. Lol anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this new chapter, and I'm actually thinking about updating this chapter tomorrow instead of making a new chapter yet because it makes more sense to me to just add on. The only reason why I'm not just doing it now is because it's 3:45 am. Goodnight bros👋
