Let's do some catching up guess what? I have found my fake boyfriend.
Several days has gone by and the day for the date was finally here ,I was nervous not for me but for Gabriel to be honest if was nervous he was doing a good job at hiding it . After my brother's hangout with Brandon I am pretty he must have done some background check in Gabriel.
We arrived at a very cool restaurant and as we walked in I saw my brother sitting in a stylishly made tux you definitely could tell he didn't stay in Cali because looking at almost everybody there except the ladies he sure knew how to get dressed.
"Joshua !! " I said happily I think I haven't seen my big bro in almost a year now and I honestly did miss him ,
"Ana my baby girl " he said as he pulled me into a bone crushing hug "ok Bro I can't breathe "I said
"Sorry " he chuckled
I took in a deep breath to introduce my "boyfriend " to my boyfriend . " josh this is Gabriel my boyfriend and Gabriel this is my brother " I finished
" Gabriel Montez as in Fernandez Montez brother ? "
Josh asked
" yea wait jo jo!" Gabriel said
Great they know each other does the universe hate me or what I thought as they did their Bro hug and all that .
"Do you guys know each other ? I asked because I am pretty sure that's not how people who don't know each other greet.
" yea when I schooled here I and Fernandez were best friends I was always went to their house and that's how I know Gabriel , how's fern though I haven't spoken to him in ages?" Joshua finished .
" well he is fine and maybe you could come around sometime we would love that , Angela can't stop talking about you all this years " Gabriel said .
"Ok guys can we have dinner now ?" I asked
We began eating making small talks here and there and to say the least I was uncomfortable knowing this would end badly , although I don't think Gabriel would screw this up because we did have consecutive hangouts before this one which he almost kissed me and that did not end well.
"So how did you too meet ?" Joshua asked
" ice cream shop !!
" coffee shop "
We both said at the same time oh crap I thought this was bad .
"Ok that's weird " josh said between chuckles
" how long have you guys been together ? He added
" we haven't been together that long , we are taking it slow "I said with a smile .
Seriously this dinner was becoming boring and interrogative as well I just wanted to go home and sleep .

To be honest this was more like guys trying to catch up than a brother and sister catching up I was on my third drink and I was already exhausted as I checked the time on my phone "10:20 it read "
"Ok I guess it's time I let you love birds get going even though you didn't show much affection here it almost seems like you guys are strangers " Joshua said given me the I know you look
" never mind we just met yesterday that's why " Gabriel said oh shoot our cover was blown
"Wait what ! I thought you said you were dating for a couple of months ?"Joshua said
"Oh crap I didn't mean it that way " Gabriel says
" ok let me come clean , josh I don't have a boyfriend and this one over here was just to help me get you off my back but I guess that's too much to ask of him " I said with my head down .
" wow this interesting , you know you could have just told me that you didn't now mom and dad would be here in three months time looking for the boyfriend who is a supposed husband candidate , what do I tell them ? Joshua asked looking disappointed as he left without even allowing me to explain .
"I am so sorry Ana I didn't mean to blurt it out" Gabriel said , I gave him a stern look that definitely shut him up
We paid and I left the restaurant
"Ana can you wait ? I said I was sorry I didn't mean to say it let me at least take you home ?
"Look Gabriel I don't really have the strength to talk , it's done right so can you leave me alone and no I will get an Uber so good night " after saying this to Gabriel in less than thirty minutes my ride was here and I left I was so done with today .

After receiving this text I didn't reply just went to my apartment and went to bed I am done with this exhausting day , seriously who wants to live my life you can have it and I was left with no thoughts as I went into a deep sleep.

The birds were chirping ,and the sun was out blinding me as a form of my consciousness I heard a loud thud on my door and if anything didn't make me conscious this definitely did "who is there ? " I yelled
"Slow down there tiger it's just Emily and I " Brandon said
"Hi there Ana we decided to come check on you , you didn't reply to any of our messages and I was worried when Gabriel came to my apartment "Emily finished
"Hi guys I am fine don't worry " I said with a forced smile .
"You are anything but ok ,start talking " Brandon said
"I agree your eyes deny that you are ok " Emily added
"My brother spoke to me like he was disappointed in me ,he said my parents would becoming to Cali by summer to meet this boy I told them about now I definitely blew the part where they say they are cool with me"I said teary eyed
"Oh sweetheart go take a bath let's go out I know a new ice cream shop that just opened "Brandon said giving me a hug
" fine ,I will be right back make yourself at home." I said
"I am home already "Brandon yelled
"Shut up I wasn't talking to you " I stated followed by an eye roll
After spending hours at the ice cream pal out which automatically lifted my mood , we were at the pack when Brandon decided it was an amazing thing to mention Gabriel's name sometimes I wonder if Brandon was actually my friend and not my arch enemy .
"You know Ana Gabriel seem to actually like you " he said with a sly smile
"Well I don't like him " I said taking pictures of the park .
" you know you could totally add another friend to this clique maybe he is the one ? " he added God this guy wasn't giving up now was he ? I thought
"No ! I am perfectly fine with just you two and I will let you know when I need a wing man right now i don't " I stated with a smile .
"Emily back me up here ? "Brandon pleaded
"Brandon the girl just said Bro let her be" Emily said
I receive a text from the chief editor for the School's paper

Oh my gosh I was literally squealing you have no idea how long I have requested for a column on the school paper i am so happy I don't even think I Listened to what Brandon and Emily were talking about I immediately replied .

After the park we went home everyone departed saying they had things to do I had an idea they were all going to their livers but I am not going to say a word however I did have work to do , I had spoken to my brother and I think we were good so I was quite relieved I love my brother so I hate to fight with him.
