it's been two weeks and the hokage said kiba would be back today

you have been training with sasuke everyday and according to him you have made a lot of progress and have become stronger

though the training did start to get difficult when he stopped going easy on you

sai has also been interrogating you lately about stuff you like to do

sakura and ino were always talking about boys and eventually you realized you had feelings for kiba

you debated on whether or not you should go to the gates to see everyone come back

you decided to go

you got your shoes and jacket on and headed out

you walked to the front gates and was greeted by kotetsu and izumo

you talked to them for awhile until you heard akamaru bark

you looked over and they finally were back and akamaru was running towards you

"hey akamaru" you said crouching down and petting him as he jumped around

you looked up and saw kiba smiling

you ran up to him and hugged him

he blushed but hugged you back picking you up a bit

you pulled away and turned to shikamaru and also gave him a hug

you felt him tense up as he awkwardly put his arms around you

you gave everyone else a hug as you walked with them

kakashi has left to go send the report to the hokage and everyone except for you kiba and shikamaru also went home to rest

"so what now" you said

"i'm going home" shikamaru said

"already?" you said

"yes" he answered as he walked away

"man i'm hungry want to go eat somewhere" kiba asked

"i'll cook dinner for you" you said

"can you cook?" kiba asked

"of course i can cook" you said as you grabbed his wrist and started pulling him to your house akamaru followed with you guys

"akamaru you can go home if you want to get some rest" kiba said

akamaru barked and ran home

you guys got to your house and walked inside

kiba right away laided down on the couch

"this feels so much better than walking for days" kiba said

you laughed as you walked over to the kitchen to start cooking

"i'm going to use your shower" kiba said

"okay" you responded as he walked into the bathroom

you continued to cook and by the time kiba was out of the shower the food was ready

"smells good" kiba said

you gasped as you turned around to see him right behind you

"you scared me" you said playfully hitting his shoulder

"i'm sorry" he said

"your mean" you whined

"i said i was sorry" he said pouting a bit stepping a bit closer to you so there was a very small gap between you two

"your such a child" you said laughing a bit

he frowned as he put one of his hands on the counter next to you

you blushed realizing how close he was to you

"am not" he said

"you are" you said walking away to put the food on the table

he came to the table and took a seat across from you

you guys started eating your food

"wow this is really good i didn't know you were such a good cook maybe i should come over for dinner more often" kiba said

"yeah of course its good i made it" you said

he just laughed as you guys continued eating

you guys finished eating and you decided to change into more comfortable clothes

you came out of your room to see kiba laying on your couch

"you really like my couch" you said

"of course it's comfy" he said

"let's watch a movie" you suggested

he agreed and you went to your bedroom to grab one of the movies you bought

you also grabbed a smaller blanket so you could lay down on the other couch

you put the movie on and walked over to the other couch

you felt something grab your hand and looked to see kiba who was still laying on the couch

he pulled you towards him and you fell on top of him

you blushed as he just casually wrapped his arms around you like it was just a normal thing for you guys to cuddle on the couch

you decided to just rest your head on his chest and watch the movie

you felt weird laying on kiba it wasn't a weird feeling but it was different

you felt safe in kibas arms

pov: kiba

i was at y/n's house and we were watching a movie

the movie was already half way over when i started to hear light snoring

i looked to see y/n fell asleep on me

i guess i'll be staying the night

i watched y/n and started to smile

she really is beautiful

i kissed the top of her head

"good night y/n" i whispered as i fell asleep with y/n in my arms
