5. NOSTALGIA

" The kid asked a lot of questions , he was really a curious brat"

Yeonjun finally squinted his eyes open , grabbing his phone from the table to check the time.        " Its morning  already " Yeonjun groaned in a sleepy tone , rubbing his eyes and tried to stretch but soon realized at weight under him .

 Yeonjun glanced in front of him and found Soobin sleeping peacefully as he was tightly wrapped around Yeonjun. Yeonjun lips curled up to form a gentle smile as he observed the other's soft features.

" After so many years ......" Yeonjun whispered to himself , removing his arms from Soobin's waist as he gently cupped the other's face in his hands. 

" Thank You  so much " Yeonjun sweetly whispered in the other's ear , leaning in to plant a gentle peck on Soobin's cheek before removing himself from the other's grasp and walking out of the room .

 Once again Yeonjun was met with the ear -piercing noise of the buzzer , yelling and honking coming from the streets but it didn't bothered him today.

Yeonjun prepared some scrambled eggs and toasts for the breakfast , taking the tray inside the bedroom as he thought the younger must be hungry . To his surprise , when Yeonjun opened the younger was already awake , his curious gaze travelling all around the room . Soobin flinched slightly when he heard the door open but relaxed afterwards when he saw Yeonjun standing in front of the door .

"Good morning kid , I hope you slept well " Yeonjun replied in a soft voice , smiling at Soobin as he walked towards him , sitting beside the purple haired boy who nodded lightly . Yeonjun placed the breakfast tray in front of the male , grabbing the sandwiches as he placed it in front of the other's mouth who hesitantly took a small bite .

"So how is the pain of your body , does it hurt now?" Yeonjun remarked in a sympathetic tone while feeding Soobin who glanced at Yeonjun innocently . 

" It still hurts , but the pain is less than before"Soobin replied in a low tone after swallowing the bite inside his mouth earning a nod from Yeonjun.

They both silently ate the breakfast after that , Yeonjun feeding the other who finally finished his breakfast .Yeonjun passed a content smile when he glanced at the boy with a satisfied look after eating the meal.

 "How was the meal ?" Yeonjun asked softly , his eyes fixed on the male in front of him .

"It was good " Soobin replied in angelic tone , smiling at Yeonjun who he gently patted his head in return . Yeonjun was about to speak again when his phone started ringing . 

Soobin noticed the annoyed look on Yeonjun's face when he glanced at the phone screen , a girl named Yeji was calling her but Yeonjun didn't responded to the call and switched off his phone .

" Kid let me apply ointment in your wounds" Yeonjun remarked in a sadistic tone as he carried the boy in his arms towards the bathroom who had a confused look on his face but decided not to question the older about the call as he carried him to the bathroom.

"Kid you better take care of your wounds and cuts , they are too deep" Yeonjun scolded the other male as he applied the antiseptics over Soobin's wounds , covering it nearly with a bandage .

 Yeonjun was first aiding a boy after he gave Soobin a quick shower to clean his wounds who was no longer shy and reluctant about it .While showering the other male , Yeonjun noticed the amount of cuts ,scars and wounds  all over Soobin's pale skin .
