There was a world, full of nothingness. A void, even. There was no sun, or any other usual type of light source. And yet, there was just a tiny spec of light in this world, enough to see the area around you, but only to a degree. Not to mention there was no sign of life anywhere.
The only thing there was dust. Plenty of it. Where did all that dust come from, you might ask? Well, that was anyone's guess. Maybe this dimension was full of life not too long ago, maybe it was a failed attempt at creation. Who knows?
Suddenly, a bright crack in reality formed in this empty world. With something stepping out of it, having horns, a tail, and an unholy aura it had around itself.
It was some kind of demon. With two different colored eyes, the left being pink and the right being purple. Those eyes began moving around rapidly as if looking for something. Added with the demon walking blindly into the void, with the crack in reality closing behind.
"Hello..? Anybody there?"
The demon says, still walking around in the darkness. Showing no sign of fear, or any other expression except confusion. Wasn't there supposed to be someone here?
Or. .something, to the very least.
"Hmm...perhaps Grim was wrong after all. That, or I went to the wrong void."
He said to himself. Normally, the demon wouldn't speak out loud. But there's nobody here to judge him, or look at him like he's a weirdo. So, why not?
"No...that skeleton was wrong. Definitely."
Anyway, once the demon believed there was nothing here, or anything of interest for that matter, a crack in reality began to form. Slowly but surely. Unknowingly to him, the dust in this uninhabited world started to clump together behind him. Somehow ascending while forming a face. Looking down at him.
"My, this is quite surprising." Said an unfamiliar voice, echoing throughout the void. Startling the demon and making him turn around. "A lot of time has passed since the last person has come here. Not to mention I wasn't expecting a demon out of all people. ."
The voice obviously came from...well, whatever that thing is. It didn't sound feminine, or manly. It sounded like a creature, an entity. Being very disoriented. Yet, you could still make out the words from it with ease.
"Uh..." The demon had no idea what to say. Before, there was nobody here. And yet, somewhere, the moment he started to leave this world, something appeared behind him. Coming from nowhere.
He wouldn't admit it, but that scared the crap out of him. Like holy shi--
"Are you...uh.." The unholy one said, still a shaken by it's sudden appearance. "Are you Onir? The entity that knows all?"
He asked. With the answer given being a simple nod from Onir. "Indeed I am." it replied. "And who are you, demon?"
"Demonblade. But you can call me blade for short."
"Well then, Blade, I must ask you something: What knowledge do you seek here? Forbidden knowledge? The knowledge that will let you annihilate your foes? The knowledge that will teach you the secrets of the universe?"
"..."
Blade didn't respond for a moment, being bombarded with these questions. Albeit those were very tempting questions, this demon came for something else. A very tiny, important piece of information. To him at least, that is.
"None of those things that you mentioned, actually. It's--"
"Then what knowledge do you seek?" Said the entity, cutting Demonblade off. Making him form an expression of minor annoyance.
